Hi There Ladies, Hope all mommies-to-be are doing well and getting bigger :) I so wish I could join you all for the coffee mornings but unfortunately, work timings clash :( And had been kinda sick the past many days. Down with bad cold & cough and heavy headed. Took a break from work as I couldnt get myself to stay up for long. BTW, would appreciate some inputs from you all. I am in my 27th week now. We are looking forward to having a natural delivery and wanted some inputs with regards to normal Vs C-section delivery in few hospitals. We have registered at Al Baraha. Govt hospitals we've heard push for natural birth as much as possible. But last week I received my new insurance card and I have maternity coverage in a few hospitals of which we have narrowed down to Al Rafa Hospital in Mankhool and Zulekha in SHarjah. Does anyone have any experience in these 2 hospitals lately? Either your own or heard of any of your friends having delivered here? Read a few posts about Zulekha where some ladies have written they push for c-section and scare you at the nick of time forcing you to agree to do c-sec. But those were old posts. So wanted to check if any recent experiences on the same , anyone?

Hi Dec mums, Hope you & your bumps are all well. I had been really nervous about the EW coffee mornings too, until my first one a few weeks ago... but it was great & I met some lovely friendly ladies :) I've been going to Tue ones at Mercato since then, as most convenient & will go tomorrow, but will get myself to the Thurs one too if there's going to be some Dec mums to chat to. This is my 1st pregnancy & I'm due on Dec 24th. Look forward to seeing you, Negin Hi Britgirldubai, Congrats on your xmas eve baby, what a present :) Definitely come along Thursday as I haven't met any December mums yet and it would be great to meet you. Samantha x

Hi Samplusbump! Congrats!! I'm 23 weeks - so not quite as far along as you. I'm also not working, and I've been to 3 coffee mornings so far. They are great for socializing as the ladies are all so lovely and friendly. On Monday I am going to Bumps & Babes @ Dubai Mall, and Thursday B&B @ Marina Mall. I also do prenatal yoga and Pilates, which I thoroughly enjoy! Would be happy to meet up with you at either (or both) of those coffee mornings and I can give you info about the yoga/Pilates classes. :) Where do you do the prenatal yoga and pilates ?

Hi Ladies, I hope everyone is well and enjoying their bumps! On the home stretch now ....... :) I have been living in Dubai for 3 years with my husband and have moved from JLT to Arabian Ranches in preparation for our new arrival. We don't have any friends expecting babies so I would love to meet some mums to be.... I am 29 weeks pregnant and due December 6th with our first baby, we wanted a surprise so we don't know the *** and are buying all things white and cute. I have chosen City Hospital and have been really pleased with Dr Britt and the facilities, including the maternity tour that they offer. I have also been attending antenatal classes at Health Bay Polyclinic with Dru (last class next week) and have found them to be fantastic and well worth it. Both myself and my husband would highly recommend this course. I would really like to try prenatal yoga and attend some coffee mornings and would really appreciate any suggestions on the best ones available. I am not working so I can be quite flexible with days and times and would love to get to meet some ladies that are at the same stage of pregnancy. Thanks in advance :) x Congrats! We also decided not to find out the gender or I must say I decided that long time ago. It's also our first baby and I'm due mid december at City Hospital. I went to my first prenatal yoga class at the Springs Town Center. It was nice. I'm planning to continue attending every week. It's on Mondays at 12:30pm. I'm in Jvt area and free during the day. I'm hoping to make it to the EW coffee this morning. I also want to join prenatal pilates. They say the more active we are the better it is for labour.

Bbarmani - How kool, we share the due date! I have chosen City Hospital, seems the place to be. x I go to Real Pilates for Prenatal Pilates and find that's helped a lot. I was into Pilates before and nice to carry on with it. Will try out Zen Yoga too. x Looks like we'll be there around the same time. We chose City Hospital as well. We are doing the prenatal classes there on the 26 of this month.

Hi Everyone! I am also expecting a baby in December 2014 (15th to be precise!) and would love to meet with you to share the experience. This is my first pregnancy and its all very daunting, exciting and scary in equal measure! I live in JBR and have taken a sabbatical from work so am pretty flexible in terms of meet ups. Look forward to hearing about the next meet up and seeing you soon. Regarding antenatal classes, I just started with Cecile yesterday and highly recommend this. :) Ruby xx Congrats! I'm also due on the 15th ;-) first pregnancy as well. What hospital have you chosen?

Hey ladies, a new member to the December group :) Hope everyone is well! I'm due at the end of this year and hoping to connect with some mums & new mums-to-be. I'm pregnant with my first baby and have moved to Dubai about a year ago. None of my friends here have kids or are pregnant.

Hi Eeds! The classes are run over several weeks, the actual number depending on whether you are having an elected C section or normal birth. Partners are welcomed and hubby did attend. It's really a couple thing. x
