Epidural
Hi ladies, as my due date gets closer i'm nervous about the birth, i don't have a high pain thresh hold at all and have been told my baby is large with a very big head (ouch). I want to ask your opinions on the epidural, back home nearly everyone i know has one when giving birth but here it seems frowned upon (among the local community). My in laws are telling me if it's done incorrectly which happens A LOT here according to them, you can be left paralysed, others are saying that the pain of the epidural is worse than the birth (apparently the needle is like a sword lol). Bottom line is none of them had it so i don't really have any interest in their thoughts on things but would love to hear from someone who's had it. I'm also aware it doesn't always work or works on only half of your body. Please share your experiences. Thanks in advance.
