We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Primary Drama Teacher to join our vibrant IB school community in Dubai. The successful candidate will teach Years 2–6, delivering engaging and inspiring drama lessons that nurture creativity, confidence, and a love for drama.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate Drama lessons for students in Years 2–6, aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
  • Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves.
  • Organise and support school performances, assemblies, and drama events.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to develop students’ dramatical knowledge and skills.
  • Assess and report on student progress, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular links and the wider creative arts programme.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Drama or Drama Education, and a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Recent experience teaching Drama in a Primary School setting (Years 2–6).
  • Experience working in an IB PYP environment is preferred, but not essential.
  • Passionate about drama education and committed to fostering a lifelong love of drama in students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be currently residing in the UAE or willing to relocate on a local hire contract (no accommodation).
