Spinneys Motor City stock some of the sweet bars which is great (though expeeeensive!), but I wondered if anyone has seen any wider selections of Atkins stuff anywhere? Shakes, bars etc.

I'm doing ok with no carbs but I need sweet stuff or I'll crack!

They mess up the price tags all the time. Small bars (35-37g) are 6.10Dhs to 7 Dhs. Large bars are 9.50.

Thanks so much for the replies - looks like I'll be heading to the mall tomorrow! Interestingly, when I bought some bars in Spinneys MC a few days ago they were priced at AED 6.50. Last night they had changed the price to AED 9.50 per bar! Isn't that quite a high percentage increase? Perhaps I was the first one to buy any and they thought "oh good let's jack the price up now" :( PS a big thanks to Waxmuch for all the links - must have taken a while, appreciate it! :) <em>edited by GirlAnachronism on 27/07/2011</em>

All major supermarkets have A.bars, Spinneys, Carrefour, Geant - in Adult`s cereals section or at the check-out. Cheaper then anywhere else. Baking mixes, pastas, bread- Dr. Nutrition center in Dubai Mall. <em>edited by Fondue on 27/07/2011</em>

Go more than twice, smile at the guy behind the till, and you'll get a discount for life. Always worth a look if you're in the area anyway. http://www.thedubaimall.com/en/shop/lifestyle-nutrition-1 There's also a healthfood store in Ibn Battuta Mall [in EGYPT, near Little Gym/Supercare Pharmacy'> whose name escapes me [and isn't on the mall directory grrr!'> which sells bars and drinks. Similar selection to Nutrition Centre. Spinneys Town Centre also sells about five different bars: choc decadence, the granola one ... um ... and a few others LOL! DH is cuckoo for Atkins bars/drinks for his work snacks so I've become somewhat familiar with the stores which sell this stuff. ;)

Choitrams usually have the diet bars but I have never seen any shakes or other products anywhere. I usually just drink a Coke zero to curb the strong sugar cravings.

nutritionworld or similar shops and pharmacies sometimes have the bars and the drinks. not too many other products around here... i have seen some low carb food in the shop next to fitness first on 3rd floor of safeer mall (almost in sharjah) and there was also a low carb shop near lulu behind mall of emirates, called carboholics or similar
