I'm a Vancouverite!! Been here 3 years now. London, UK for 3 years before Dubai. I LOVE that Timmy's is finally here. My DH (British) has been educating his office on what Tim Bits are :) He was so shocked when I went to pick him up from work a few weeks ago and there sitting on the passenger seat was a Timmy Tim Bit box. We can't do a trip up to Whistler in the summer without a stop by Timmy's for a road trip snack, LoL. Can't wait for Thanksgiving coming up.

Anyone going to the brunch? We could arrange a signal to recognise each other... (Red tuque? Carry an umbrella?)

Hey ladies! I'm an army brat, so I've lived in QC city, Halifax, Borden Ontario and Montreal! I can't claim any of those places as my "hometown" but they all hold a place in my heart! Montreal is where I usually tell people I am from, since its the last place I was living and where I went to University! I would love to meet up for a get-together with other Canadians. We've been here a year now but haven't really met too many peopl besides DH's co-workers.

I'm Canadian, currently in London (ontario, not the fancy london!) ;) Moving to Dubai in October. If you guys end up meeting up regularly I would love to join in and get some Dubai info from people who can explain things to me in terms I can understand. I've got two girls - 8 and 4.

I totally agree radical3. I was so hoping for Wendy's chicken strips when they opened. DH loves Timmy's chili. A Canadian friend in Abu Dhabi thinks it won't be until after Ramadan but the mall website does list Timmy's as one of their coffee shops. Think we'll confuse the staff if we ask for a large double double

I've been waiting since April - that was the original deadline for completion. It's totally worth the drive to Abu Dhabi - I just hope that its all the same (donuts, coffee, bagels). I find some of the franchises are different when they come here (like Wendy's, even McDonald's here doesn't taste like McD's in TO). Let me know when the Canadian convoy leaves - me and my troops will be on board for the roadtrip :)

I am from Nova Scotia myself, i live in Abu Dhabi but work in Dubai, Timmy's will be opening in the new Mushrif Mall at the end of the month, I am more than happy for those living in Dubai to be your personal Timmy's delivery gal, LOL :D end of the month Canadian time or Dubai time ;) Anyone know if Dubai is getting one too?? Abu Dhabi is a much better run then getting it sent from Canada. I know two other families that are Timmy addicts that will gladly take a road trip to Abu Dhabi.

I start back to work the end of August :( boo. What areas do all of you live in? I got my can of Timmy's in the freezer. Thank god one is opening up here because it gets expensive being shipped out here :) Oh and just in case any of you were looking. Spinney's does carry clamato juice for those yummy ceasars.

All i can say I am sooo excited to meet all of you and to see the response. I think the best thing to start with since I am a stay at home mom is to gather those that are free to meet during the weekday. Should we move this to my hotmail so you can send me your phone number and emails and we can coordinate? [email protected] We can do a morning coffee with snacks around 10 on wednesday or thursday. Or afternoon at 3pm, my place. Waiting for your emails and will contact you!! I wont have Timmys's though boooohooo :((( But homemade cookies is ok? :)
