G'Evening Ladies

Boring question; i have my visa medical exam coming up yet again, and usually with all my previous employers, i would be directed to a medical centre, helped with queue jumping, etc...this year however, noone is there to hold my hand....could someone please recommend a relatively peaceful and not so clustered medical center? Im not very good in big crowds (claustrophobia), and im also terrified of hospitals/clinics (i tend to get panicky and light headed after the first 10 mins). I know Cedar Clinic (or so i think is the name) in Jebel Ali is fairly quick and peaceful...are there any other locations you can recommend?

Hello ladies, I have just been to get my Medical for my Visa, very easy. I went to Al Safa Community Health Centre, here is the link: http://www.visaprocess.ae/details.php?page=medical_service I went to th 'VIP section' and was seen very quickly. Cost me 760 AED, got there about 8.30am, was done by 8.50am! They send you a text to let you know when you blood sample is back - its within 4 hours. I went back at 1pm to collect! Was not stressful, which I was worried about, thats why I went here, as it offered the 'VIP' service! :)

It was 2 years ago now...we gave all our paperwork to our PRO as there are forms that need to be completed by the employer. He then gave back the form etc and I went down to the medical centre gave in the form and copy passport and about 300 dirhams, had the medical done and then they told me when to go back for the results etc.

if you hold an Abu Dhabi visa but live in Dubai, can you have the medical done in Dubai and take it to AD for renewal?

Thanks Roysie. When did you go? What did you need to take with you? I would assume it would be some Passport Photos, Passport copies, Passort, Visa copy. Anything else? How much did it cost you? :) Thanks

There is a quiet medical test centre next to Welcare in Media City. If you can get there at 8am when it opens, it will be so quick... I did mine by myself and I am not good with situations like that either. ;)
