look at todays paper http://www.thenational.ae/news/uae-news/week-long-eid-school-holidays-reduced it clearly states that if its half term then its fine.

yes but if you scroll down to the bottom it does say if this has been in the academic calender before the start and has been approved then it will be fine.

Such conflicting statements in the same article! "...government has announced Eid holidays from November 6 to November 9..." and then: "...regular classes will resume on November 8..." :\: <em>edited by Girl 88 on 02/11/2011</em>
