dubai71, it doesn't seem that low, I think I had about 6/7 eggs,but only 3 fertilised. I didn't require genetic, so can't advise on that. Sorry. Well doctors say you can carry on as normal after couple of hours of resting. They advise to keep out of the sun, swimming pools, not to do heavy lifting. I kinda lazed around quite bit, in the fertility friends website ladies advised plenty of bed rest, to drink lots of grape/pineapple juice, to eat Brazil nuts etc :). Did the whole lot, thought why not! One of Dr F patients recently had a baby, she had couple of frosties, (before the law changed last year). Only 1 thawed and they transferred that one and she got pregnant. What I mean say is that, it is not the quantity,but the quality that counts. Please don't stress too much, I wish you all the best for Saturday. I hope your successful this time, and hope you have a healthy baby by the end of the year!

For all you ladies out there with IVF experience.... I had the egg collection yesterday, they got 8 (I am 39). Apparently 4 of these have fertilised. This seems low to me.... Can any of you advise please? We have been advised to do genetic testing as previous miscarriage due to genetic issues so am just praying that at least 3 of the 4 are genetically sound... The transfer is on Saturday. I would also be grateful if you would advise how little you did post-transfer and for how long. [b'>Hi Dubai71 We had 6 eggs collected and 4 of them fertilised and got pregnant, all you need is ONE healthy egg, forgot to say i was your age too, We waited few days until they called us on the transfert day, i think they monitor the eggs and call you when they are ready, at least that how they did it at our clinic.
