Hi Fr!zzyBusY, Yes I went to My Tailor in JLT ..... got my alterations done, zipper fixed and also a new dress stitched. This place is excellent for tailoring jobs and I am very much satisfied with the job done. Thanks to our friend who recommended this place. :-)) Sorry I totally forgot to reply to this post. Thanks for the feedback Elli. Hope you don't mind me asking, how much did they charge for a zipper and a dress stitched? Thanks.

Hi Ebony, Thanks a lot for the information. For many days I was looking for a tailor around JLT for stitching my dresses and a lot of alterations. Will surely go to this place at the earliest possible . Do you have any idea how much time they take for alterations ? Thanks once again friend :-) Hi Eli Let me know how you get on. I too, have a couple of tops that needs shortened. Thanks.

Sorry for the bump but was in the Barsha area yesterday and saw [url=https://www.facebook.com/pages/Koshtban/352217608164809'>Koshtban[/url'> - a tailor/alteration place

If it's just simple trouser shortening, the best answer would be 'Wundaweb', you simply iron on with a hot cloth and boom, trousers shortened with no sewing required .You can pick this stuff up in most supermarkets. However, if you definitely wish a tailor to do it, most dry cleaners offer this service and there are lots in JLT. Hope that helps. If it was me, yes. This is a single man, here alone, working all day. Not sure he'd even know what to do with it ETA didn't think about dry cleaners - thanks, that's probably the easiest solution. edited by Sanddy_Dogg on 26/07/2012 Ah yes, man = complete lack of ability when it comes to simple tasks :)

Would you be able to recommend a specific supermarket in the New Dubai area? I'm pretty sure I've bought some in Waitrose, failing that Al Maya, the big one just down from W/rose.

Any info appreciated. Simple trouser shortening required for someone in JLT but without own transport. Thanks.
