After Claire's drama with Millie in Mirador, my cat has decided to go wandering off now too. We live in M la Coleccion on the street behind the main road. She has been gone for two nights now. She likes to be outside (was a stray and prefers it outdoors) but always stays in the garden or just across the road in a neighbour's villa. She is grey, with a pink collar, orange municipality tag and another tag with my phone number on it. Answers to the name of Twinkle... please keep an eye out for her.

No, nothing. We went out again last night but no sign. Had a rubbish day today as well - little daughter had suspected swine flu so spent three hours at the doctors doing tests. Thankfully just a respiratory infection so on a nebuliser. I've had some dodgy moles cut off my feet as well. So if you see a mad woman hobbling around Mirador shaking some cat biscuits, that will be me! Lol! Hope you find poor pussy :(

Thanks Claire. I'm all in favour of child labour so my 12 year old will be put to work! Here's a photo link: http://s1181.photobucket.com/albums/x428/finchlj/

Oh no......... Millie was found right at the end of La Coleccion Avenue turning right at the roundabout. To be honest - she's been really pee'd off since she's been back as I think she was having a party every nigh!. There's a lovely lady at the end of that road who has adopted stray cats and feeds them - Millie was missing for 10 days and there's no way that she was starving so I think she joined the menagerie there and made full use of the buffet! When you say she's grey is she all grey or grey tabby? do you have a picture you can send me so I can help you to find her? claire dot damamme at ntlworld dot com That's interesting Claire. We live at that end of La Coleccion Avenue. I wondered why there were always a few cats roaming around up there (including a little black and white one with no tail that bit me when I stroked it...). I'm going to go out again now. She's all grey with a very long tail. She also likes her food so she must be getting fed somewhere if she's still around here... That's exactly where Millie was found so....... as I seem to have half the roads cats with their noses pressed up against my windows calling for their new girlfriend to come back out to play - I will keep my eyes peeled....... the black and white with no tail has been here for most of the day together with Millie's boyfriend a cute tabby who is extremely vocal! please e mail me a picture and I will keep my eyes peeled here for her.

when people find their lost pets, can they possibly go back around to the vets etc and take their notices down. Good luck, hope your cat comes home quickly. I sent Millie's details to the vets by e mail and e mailed them all when she was found asking for them to take their posters down..... Also been to Le Marche and Spinneys to get my posters down. OK, cos this morning I saw some ladies reading your poster in the Vets and then I asked the receptionist to verify with you that Millie had in fact been found (she was going to take my word for it...!!) yeah I thought that comment was aimed at me!!!!! One can only do what one can do!!!!! thanks for letting her know - wonder if she takes it down!

So many lost cat threads :-( Was lovely to hear Claire found Millie I SO hope you find yours too. I had x4 outdoor cats at home in the UK & I miss them like crazy ..... so much so that I am seriously working on DH to allow me to have a couple of INDOOR cats here ...... never really agreed with indoor cats but I am beginning to come round due to the amount of lost cat threads. You never think it'll happen but it seems to be all to common a thread :-( Good luck sweetie - I'll be keeping my eyes out (despite being the other end of town!). x

Yes, he really did say that. I think he was joking but 0/10 for diplomacy and tact! Just been round Mirador la Coleccion again, and on the main road. Still no sign.

lol, I am sorry Luddite, but did he really say that???? what a twit lol. Call them again in the morning, you might get someone with a bit of sense. And, it would be best to go down there yourself and ask to see the cats they have in both rooms.

Will do but I'd like to find her first. I rang the Municipality and the guy asked me why my cat would leave me if I treated her so well and told me to try getting a dog next time! Lovely... <em>edited by Luddite on 09/02/2011</em>

Just making a little flyer as we speak. Was out for two hours last night looking for her. My problem is that she likes to get in people's cars - I have a dreadful feeling that that is what has happened.
