Hi there does anyone know if this nursery is still open? Do you have a different contact number from the website? I've tried emailing and calling with no response.

No actually it's not a Pakistani nursery. I just registered my son there to start in Jan. The facilities are new and they follow the highscope US approach. I read up on it and I quite liked the approach. Fosters independent thinking and provides individual attention. I wanted that until my son enters formal education. The school is a not for profit school by the aga khan foundation but there is nothing in the school that specifies any particular culture or religion. Infact the director is Australian and they have all highly qualified teachers. I do not follow the aga khan but was quite impressed with this nursery and it's facilities. It is also not for profit and they teach Arabic to the kids.

Hi there, There is a great nursery very close to DESS. Infact, there are some kids that have moved on from this nursery to DESS last year and are going next September as well. I am applying to DESS for September 2014 (when he will be old enough to go). The nursery is called Aga Khan Early Learning Centre. It has great teachers and the environment is wonderful. My son goes there right now and we are very happy with the school, what he is learning and the curriculum. Its about a 5 minute drive to DESS. Check out their website if you are interested: www.akelcdubai.org Best of luck to you in finding a great place for your little one(s)!!! Thank you, my son is only 15months old so too young. Do you have any info on fees? TIA edited by starsouthern on 17/10/2012
