I am thinking of buying the eye cream is it worth it? I read Paula Begoun's review and it isn't very complimentary, just wandered if any EW'ers have used the stuff?

Buy cheaper products and with the savings get cosmetic enhancements (botox, fillers, derma roller, laser) - they are the only things that really make a difference ;-). :-P

I want to retain the use of my eyebrows and don't want lips like a Bratz doll - that's why I'd rather use some cream instead... Lips like a Bratz doll? Haha! Hilarious!!!

Baby Bottom Butter sounds a lot better than the Anasol (???) that was very popular in the 2000s for lines around the eyes :)

Apparently what's all the rage in the UK right now for your face is... Waitrose Baby Bottom Butter. I kid you not. There's a waiting list! :D

Ludite, you must have used really bad Cosmetic Surgeons in the past!! Fortunately if you use a good professional you wont experience the effects you have mentioned :-). edited by sjn on 16/02/2011

Their oil absorbing moisturiser. Definitely works. I love their new serum also.

Thank you for the feedback, one more question, if you were to buy just the one product from the range which one would it be?

I used it for a few months sometime ago. It was okay but nothing spectacular. Defnitely overhyped and overpriced. I am a regular Ponds user and found that Ponds Intensive did a better job of hydrating my skin! Lol!

La Paraire is fab. But one must keep changing your creams every six months for best results. I alternate La Prarie e with Lancome, Estee Lauder & Clarins. I use the Clarins cleansing products [I particularly like the gel melt cleanser for removing make-up; makes your skin feel really really clean'>. Oh, and I heart La Prarie. Swear by the Anti-Aging Stress Cream. Costs much, lasts long. :D

I've been using their products for about 8 years now. Expensive but worth it. However, I recently experimented with Pond's and found that it actually made my skin look glowing (well, about as much as you can expect skin to glow on a 44 year old!)... Pond's Cold Cream? I have used Creme De LaMer on and off for about 8 years. When I dont use it you can tell as I dont have that vibrant refreshed glow. It is thick but lucious. I had horrible acne scars and for me, even though there is no claim to this, it nearly vanished them. maybe it has a "plumping" effect but if used correctly it will last pretty long. I always go back to it and even staff at competing makeup counters back home say it has the most loyal customers. As for the eye cream I had a difficult time with it and it burned and caused much irritation. For lesser priced creams the Olay Regenerist micro-sculpting cream gets great reviews

I use the eye cream; love it; it seems to help with fine lines. I've been using it for six years now. It's important to not rub it in directly [if that makes sense!'>. I put a tiny blob [you don't need much'> on the base of my thumb, rub it until it's creamy and then dab it gently around my eyes. The only other product I use from this range is the spritz spray -- when I fly -- and it's fab as well. :)
