hey, ramadan gifting need not be just food. 055 6646410 contact the lady on this number who does alot of ramdan gifts food and non food stuff.you would get personalised gifts from her.
You can take a nice box of dates ( i.e Bateel)
Or desert ( cakes, cupcakes, tarts..)
You can wear casual chic, as long as it's not too revealing
Thank you, is it expected I take something on each visit, or just the first?
It's not expected, but it would be a nice gesture.
Doesn't have to be an expensive item; you can take small box of Arabic sweets..bake a cake at home...
culturally, we never go to anyone's house empty handed, even if it is with a small token.
during ramadan, good iftar gifts to bring as someone else mentioned are dates and chocolates (patchi/bateel big favorites) but also any kind of cakes, pastries, sweets, or appetizer type foods - anything that can easily be shared.
ramadan gift giving is mostly food related
You could also bring a dish of something you have cooked if it's in someone's house.
Easiest would be to ask your boyfriend what a good gesture would be.
