Take the red line and get off at Emirates Metro Station, there are several buses leaving from there to Festival City.

If to travel by metro, the red line will be still best. The closest to Festival City is the GGICO station (Garhoud), then catch the taxi. Sorry, can't help you with the bus option.

Thanks ladies. Clearly it's not an option then :D Why not? Just takes longer-the buses are good though Don't mind the bus rides really, but just realised that DD's pram is a little too big to maneuver, especially when the buses are packed. We take the bus from The Gardens to the Ibn Batuta station, but that's hardly 7 minutes and is usually just a handful of people.

I remember going once with a friend, we got off at 'Emirates' station (one after terminal 3) and then we walked a little bit down the road to catch a bus. It stopped on that main road that runs past Festival City, it would have been less than 5mins walk to the mall. But prob not an option with kids, but ok if you want to get a taxi back later on. Have you tried the RTA journey planner to see which bus it might be? I think it was on marrakech or casablanca road (the one near the Emirates HQ and you can see the RTA office from the bus stop) Sorry I'm terrible with streets here as I don't drive!

You can catch a bus there from Khalid bin al Whalid Station for sure-and also I think Deira City Centre-bit of a meandering trip but fine if you don't mind taking the scenic route!

The nearest station is Al Jadaf, which is the last stop there, and its used by all the workers that work in the drydock in Jadaf, im not sure about the bus, but 100% sure i wouldnt want to be standing in Jadaf waiting for a bus, Hubby works there and he wouldnt let me even get out of the car when im with him!!

Is this possible now that the Green line is open. Is there a station close to the mall with a feeder bus service?
