Hi, my ezcema has gone from bad to worse in recent weeks with angry red patches, it hasnt been like this for 10yrs, the last time it was I was able to get a prescription for Daktacort ointment from my GP in the UK. I cant find this ointment in Dubai and cannot order online without a prescription - has anyone found this anywhere here? Its a hydrocortisone ointment so open to recommendations of similar products too!

I've also bought it (the ointment) recently at the pharmacy inside Dubai London Clinic on Beach Road, in case that's nearer for you. edited by pinks on 20/01/2013

Amazing! Thanks Cherry Ripe, if you can let me know that would be fantastic - also was it the cream or the ointment?

Hubby bought Daktacort at a dubai mall pharmacy a few days ago. He said he had to try 2 pharmacies as the first was out of stock. I will post back soon if he can remember which one had it.

Is that the brand name? If you know what the ingredient is and how much of it is there, take that to the pharmacy and they should be able to tell you what it is. Brand names often differ between here and the US, UK, and Oz, but the ingredient should be the same. I've had really itchy skin the last two weeks or so as well, not my ezcema but just itchy, like I;ve been bitten. Wonder what it is? Its miconazole and hydrocortisone
