(Sorry for the repeat ladies, I thought this post was in the Maids section)

My maid is really good, she has been with us for 3 yrs. I dont think she was waiting for an opportunity to get things done. She had an accident 12 years back wherein she lost 3 front teeth so now she has artificial permanent dentures. They are giving a problem so I would prefer getting it checked. If i get a temp solution until the end of the year it is well and good, we will get her treatment done back home.
AnonDubai - Can u guide me which clinic in Karama.
Iranian hospital looks hopeful and reasonable on teh phone, will check out this evening if it is for real.
what the nationality of your maid? the reason why im asking this is becuase i know a filipina dentist who holds clinics, albeit underground, in her house. she is a professional dentist who works on a clinic though but treats her friends for a cheaper rate as against going to the clinic she works for. my office mate have had several appointments with her and she sounds pretty good.

Probably because she doesn't feel like paying Nicolas and Asp prices for her maid...
Can't say I blame her!
I wouldn't pay those prices, myself!
same. These dentist clinics are so ridiculous in their prices and truthfully, the best treatment I had was from a dentist in Karama.
Can anyone reccommend good inexpensive dentist for my maid.
why does it have to be cheap ??
some maids take jobs here just to get their medical issues sorted....once it has all been done they want to go back home. Also, they have loads of work to be done, they don't get this 6 monthly check up stuff....they wait until they need 3 root canals and crowns...
When mine goes home on vacation I give her Dh500 to get her mammogram and dental checkups.
I believe the Sharjah Dental Hospital has students to which you sign up for, AED50 to open up file and then rest of treatment is free (to what extent I am not aware). Perhaps Dubai has the same.
Thanks Alismum, I was checking out Iranian Hospital's website last nite.
Pikachu - By paying ridiculous amount u need not get good dentist or for that matter good service.
