Hi! Has anyone used Interem international movers (their ad is on this site)? Their website does not work well, so can't get any answers from them. Any recommendations of movers? This is urgent. Thanks.

Thanks. We used interem early this yr with our move to canada. Really professional ppl and we r v satisfied. No other company told us exact time frame which shipment will take to be delivered. And the date which they gave us, our container was delivered exactly on the same day. We shipped our whole 2 bedroom apartment furniture along with personal belongings. They estimated for 20ft container which was around 27000dhs. It was door to door facility so they esembled all furniture upon delivery. You can call on your given contact or send them email

I 3rd or 4th or 5th the Allied Pickford recommendation. They were excellent for our move to Dubai.

Used them for moves from DXB to US, US to DXB and within DXB. My experience has been good, very professional and here in Dubai for a small fee they can send the 'handyman team' to put up curtains, light fixtures, etc which is totally worth it IMO. The only thing is when we were moving in Dubai from an apartment to a villa they told us it would be a one day move and I think it should have been two days. Result is we ended up getting all our stuff at the new place late at night and there wasn't enough time to put everything in place. They did the job but I felt bad for the poor guys who ended up having to work a much longer day that they should have bc their sales person underquoted. We gave them a good tip in the end and they were quite happy.

Not at minute. Not sure what is happening but think we will be here till next summer anyway. The Pickfords i refer to was in UK last year. We also used them KL to NZ and they got us out of a mess in China. My DH company organised packers for us in China to move to KL. Thing was , it turned out they'd only ever packed industrial things like sacks of concrete. They hadn't a clue and had brought ZERO packing materials...I found them wrapping wine glasses in my knickers..I jest not!! Anyway, I quickly ejected them but this was the Mon and our flights to KL were Wed morning. I called Pickfords and they were fab and arranged an emergency, overnight pack up. edited by Feefmick on 11/09/2013

I second Pickfords..used them several times. As Vinogirl said if they do quote more than other companies , get back to them and they will probably reduce their quote. Last time we used them, I had the Crown guy round just before them and the Pickfords guy saw his car...told me that if Crown did quote less but I preferred Pickfords to get back to him and he would see what he could do. Are you leaving Feef?

Hi we have used Pickfords from UK to Dubai to Thaland and they were fantastic. can to wrap everything - and I mean the whole house in the UK and followed up when we arrived at our destination. Could not fault them. Also if you are asked to get three quotes and expected to use the cheapest - as all removers if you have a favourite PF will under quote the cheaper one if the difference is not a great difference in cost. Hope your move goes well.
