I am considering switching over from Mashreq to Emirates NBD for various reasons.
Can anyone tell me if Emirates NBD has an easy website to navigate through for online payments (dewa, elife etc.) and checking of statements?
When you call their helpline can you speak to an actual human being?
When you shop overseas does your visa card get accepted every time (not blocked or rejected?)

TIA!

I am with them since years, and I am happy, no complain at all, very smooth website with possibility of online payment for many things, once I paid a big amount online, and they contacted me in seconds to verify it....excellent I am considering switching over from Mashreq to Emirates NBD for various reasons. Thanks ladies! :) I think I will be making the move over then. We do inform the bank when we go on overseas holidays to prevent blocking but it seems to fall on deaf ears. Also the staff on the helpline are not helpful. Staff at the branches are lovely but I need proper helpline and online help. I cant drive to a branch every time something arises.

main account I use and no problems at all. If there is a problem ( lost card etc ) they are really helpful . Online banking is so user friendly and I pay everything through that including salik. Barclays Premiere on the other hand .. grrrrrrrrr

been with them for about 14 years now... ME bank, then Emirates bank-Now ENBD- I like their online portal, very easy to navigate. I also have HSBC premier account, yet I prefer to use my ENBD account. Service varies from branch to branch-

I have been with them since I moved (Have since changed to another bank but keeping my ENBD account for now), and they are really good. Their customer service is good, their help line always available. Internet banking is well set up, and your regular debit card can be used abroad for in store purchase as well as withdrawal. And online purchases as well. I would recommend you inform them before you travel that you will be using your cards in such and such country, because they will block your card if they see a suspicious transaction if they can't reach you by phone. I always call and let them know where I will be.

I've been with them for 8 years (before and after the merger) and I have no complaints. I use my cards abroad and use Internet banking regularly.
