I'm taking my guests in my car to visit old dubai souks in deira, but don't know where to park. Any suggestions?

You can also metro right down to the Bur Dubai side - the station beside the creek/souk is Al Ghubaiba. :)

We usually park in the multi-storey car park directly opposite the abra station on the Deira side. There's always plenty of space, you're literally right at the entrance to the spice souk, and if you go up to the roof you get a great view of the creek on one side and the rooftops of Deira on the other. If you want to find it on Google Maps, the car park entrance is [url=https://www.google.com/maps/place/25%C2%B016%2702.9%22N+55%C2%B017%2752.5%22E/@25.267475,55.2979083,16z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x0'>here[/url'>. edited by Madge_Gustard on 13/04/2014

i park near Central Bank / HSBC oin bur dubai near the creek and get an abra across. This was by far the best option when we went last week. I wouldn't have liked to try and park anywhere near the souk

I recently took my dad who was visiting and mid morning I drove around and around unable to find a spot, even in the open carpark opposite the souk. We ended up parking in the fish/vegetable market. It was a short walk into the souk, but better than continually searching. Cost is at the rates of regular street parking.

There's also a large parking garage along the creek, just before the spice souk, opposite the dhows. Alternatively you could park on the Bur Dubai side, near the Museum and take an Abra to cross to the Deira side.

There is a huge car park by the Gold Souk. You can walk to the Old Souk from there.
