I feel sick if I drink it on an empty stomach. I prefer Roobos or Redbush tea

Maybe it's the caffeine? Green tea has specific minutes to be soaked in water. Left in for too long I think it's the caffeine that will get you. Happened to me a lot of times.

Google advises not drinking it on an empty stomach or try the decaffinated one. Also suggestions it could be the tannin contained in the tea.

Yes, I get a slight feeling of nausea after green tea, thought it was just me! How strange, I wonder what it is in it which causes this? edited by Artemis2 on 23/02/2015

I can't drink plain green tea. It makes me cringe. But green tea with mint I love.
