Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook / Maid for an Indian American Lebanese family. The primary responsibilities include cooking, maintaining the kitchen, and assisting with food preparation for home catering events, following provided diet plans and recipes.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook daily meals for the family, adhering to provided Indian, American, and Lebanese diet plans and recipes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, including regular cleaning of appliances, utensils, and surfaces.
Execute menus for special events and gatherings hosted at home, using provided recipes to ensure high-quality food presentation and taste.
Assist with food catering preparation for home events, including ingredient prep, cooking, and serving, based on provided plans.
Manage kitchen inventory, including grocery shopping and restocking supplies as needed.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with family members to accommodate specific dietary requirements outlined in the provided plans.
Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the kitchen and dining areas.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook, with ability to follow detailed diet plans and recipes for Indian, American, and Lebanese cuisines.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle daily cooking and event preparations.
Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with family members and understand their needs.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Flexibility to work evenings or weekends for special events as needed.
Prior experience in catering or event food preparation is a plus.

Working Conditions

Full-time or part-time position, based on family needs.
Work primarily in the family’s home kitchen, with occasional outdoor cooking for events.
