Hi ladies,

Do you know if there are any school following any of the above methods AFTER Kindergarten / Foundation Stages as we'e looking for alternatives for our children.
If not, which schools do you advise for an education that is more arts-led and with a stronger component on the kids skills and talents rather than a more academic one.

Thanks.

If you don't what academics then look at any of the IB type schools for primary.

There is a school called Widad Centre that follows many of these philosophies. It follows a US curriculum called Oakhills I think. It is in Jumeirah behind the Shangri-La hotel. Look at www.widadlearning.com I have visited it and thought it was really nice. It has an alternative feel. It comes under the ministry of social affairs rather than KHDA as it includes some students with special needs (they would be by far the minority of students).
