As far as I could see this Valet Parking was set up by the Miracle Garden themselves as I noticed a small booth on the side of the road as I drove out. We parked in the car park opposite Gate 2 and there was a local man stopping the traffic so you could cross the road so safe enough. The entrance came in where the beautiful peacocks are so no less of an entrance than Gate 1. I just think it is a rip off to charge to park my car when they haven't even touched it!
We've been twice in the past 3 weeks and have always been charged 30 dirhams in the car park across the road from the entrance. I told the guys this was crazy as it was so dangerous for the children to cross the road (especially as it's on a bend) He just shrugged and said that's what he was told to charge.
You can park in the safer car park where the entrance is for a small fee of 50 dirhams!!
A bit excessive for parking
I have had my 2 sets of in-laws visiting over the last few weeks and both wanted to see the Dubai Miracle Garden. The first time we visited on a Tuesday morning and there was practically nobody there and had a lovely time. I took the second set of in-laws yesterday and was directed to a different car park and having parked my car was approached and told that there was a AED 30 charge for Valet Parking. I had not valet parked as had parked the car myself but when I told the attendant this he was adamant that I had to pay the AED 30 valet parking fee. Needless to say I got back in the car and drove round the corner and parked in the other car park.
I know it was only AED 30 but this sort of thing really irks me and so many people were paying this AED 30 fee as I assume they didn't know that it was a scam.
