Oooh hope the pool is sorted soon, I'm possibly moving there next week. Just waiting (and waiting..) for my school to confirm it. There are 2 pools shelders, the other one is still open. Even if you live right up this end it's less than a 5 minute stroll along the podium level to get there. Still wish they would get it all sorted though!

I spoke to the guys outside Signature Studio tonight and they said its a 'boutique'. When I asked if he meant clothes he said 'novelties, clothes from Pakistan'. I hope good ones n reasonably priced!

They had not retiled, they took up the tiles, then put the black sealing stuff on, the filled it (I assume for testing). So it was nowhere near finished, it looked really odd black and full. Then they drained it, a guy was there tileing the edges but that also seems to have stopped now. Hmm Thai is my fave, I hope it's nice!

ooh! I thought the last on the pool was that it had been retiled and then filled and then there was a testing period to see if all was ok (is that not what is happening now?).

On my trek down to Spinneys, I noticed ............ a new sign! Coming soon: Tangerine authentic Thai and far Eastern cuisine. It was downstairs, nearest Feet Lounge. I hope it's REALLY soon!

Does anyone know the best way to complain about the pool? I think getting as many people as possible to complain is worth a go. It is ridiculous now, and the state of the East Heights pool is also unacceptable, the floor is a death trap.

The pool situation is getting slightly frustrating! I know we are lucky that we still have East Heights but still... We can see the pool from the bedroom window and in the 3 months we've been in the apartment I have seen one person down there for half an hour on one occasion. They are not doing a thing to it and just lying with a new completion date each month! Not sure what we can really do about it though?

About the pool - I called Taziz a while ago to ask when on earth they were going to sort it out. They said it would be finished by end of September...days are ticking by and NOTHING is happening. I'm livid! There is no way it'll be done in the next three weeks. That pool has been out of bounds for months! What do we pay maintenance fees for?! And you can bet as soon as we stop paying it they'd be banging our door down demanding it. Anyone fancy a demonstration outside the Business Bay office?!

I went and checked out the sign today... Signature Studio with a fingerprint logo. I was wondering if it is a photographer?? Can't wait to find out! I have to agree about the delicious coffee at Gloria Jeans - am loving their Toffee Nut chillers at the moment! Does anyone have any updates about when the West Heights pool will reopen?

Passed it last night on the way back from a delicious coffee at Gloria J, while I waited for our tandoori from curry house, yum.. It's got signage up saying 'signature', maybe beauty/ hair salon?
