How does it work....I mean how long does it last? Are they high maintenance? Sorry if I sound silly, but I've only had the 2 week ones, the ones with glue, but I paid the equivalent of £20...wasn't too keen on those. Just wondered if it was the same kinda thing They last for 8 weeks. I was having the refills every two weeks as well which cost 200 aed but you only need these if you want them for the long term...I got a bit addicted to them because I loved how they looked. You don't need to wear mascara with them and everyone comments on them. I originally had them done for my wedding in November and even the make up artist was blown away by them and made an appointment the next day to get them. They have different lengths to choose from but I always go for the longest ones.... You don't sound silly at all....I asked so many questions before I got mine done... Becky hope you don't mind another question or two, then :) Every 2 weeks looks affordable to me, but are they just real funky at the 14 day mark? I mean, if you had to put off a refill appointment for a couple of days, would you go berserk? Does the glue or the attachment itself make your eyelids itch? I love the idea of this--I have such light eyelashes but very little primp time in the morning. Well, time to be on here obviously :) but it is always a rush between when my gym opens and getting ready for work after. Sorry, one more question--does the skin under your eyes look fresher since you don't have to remover mascara daily? That was my main reason for seeking this out. Many thanks! Hi - no they arent funky at the 14 day period sometimes i have left it until 3-4 weeks mark to have the refills sometimes. At the moment i have not had them done for about 7 weeks and they still look good (maybe not as thick though) My eyelids do not itch or anything. I even wear contact lenses and find the lashes have caused me no discomfort of getting the contacts in and out. I have very short eyelashes so the extensions were a godsend and a bit like you by the time i have walked the dog in the morning i dont have much time to get ready for work. Another reason i had them done was i found i ended up with panda eyes by lunchtime where my mascara and eyeline had smudged from me sweating... Hope this helps x It sure does! thanks!! I guess like anyone people have different experiences with the eyelash extensions however i am very happy and so are my friends which have them done at the same place...So long as you use an oil free make up remover you will be good to go. I do have to admit though dxbnewbie is right i did notice some of my own lashes fall off on occasions. I am hoping this will rid me of my vicious cycle with YSL mascara. :) thanks for all the tips and downsides, too everybody!
