Headed to Boston on Thursday for dd open heart surgery................
Malak broke my mobile so I have lost a cpl of friends phone numbers :( I am hoping they find my post, cuz I dont have there email.....
Malaks heart has become critical and is requiring her Open heart sugery ASAP! We have booked flights to Boston and leave this Thursday. She will have her surgery done at Childrens Hospital in Boston Tuesday March 29th. We are so scared and overwhelmed and just want our LO to be fixed!
They will be repairing or replacing her Mitral Valve and also repairing the arch that comes from her Aorta. They are both extremely narrowed and the blood is not flowing like it is suppose to. The surgery is a big one and will last 7 to 10 hrs. She will be on a heart/Lung bypass during surgery, so the thought of this is sooooo scary!
I hope to come back safely to Dubai with some great news and a brand new healed child! She is 8 months old now. Please keep her in your prayers and dua'as!
