Holy ****! We live in a 1 bed in Int City and spend 60 dirhams a month. And we have the aircon on 24/7. What's going on here?

We have a signature villa on the Palm and our last bill was nearly 7,000!! It's gone up a lot since last year and 2000 up from last month alone. I really think dewa is taking the p1ss now. My friends who is on a one bedroom app paid around 1000 a month I think.

That sounds awefully high for a 2br. I may be mistaken but I think many of the properties on the Palm are reliant on the District Cooling system and that makes the A/C bills higher. You should definitely call Dewa and get a reading.

You can contact them and have someone come over to check your metter. We have just received ours 3000 Aed!!!! DH just called DEWA and someone should be coming in 5 to 7 business days...I truly hope this is a mistake...3000 per month is crazy...
