I experienced this pain a few months back, was diagonised as frozen shoulders by an Ortho-paedic, who later put me on to a Physio-therapist, along with medications. Now I'm perfectly fine.

See a GP first and get a referral to either a physio or Osteopath. I saw my GP first regarding the problem with my hips and she said it was 'wear and tear' and that was that as far as she was concerned but they just got worse. As my DD had been to him over a problem with her back, I went to see Russell Hill, who told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my hips as I had full mobility in them. He actually diagnosed a Lumbar Canal Stenosis, I had about six sessions with him and the problem was solved. I know who I would listen to in the future!! If Russell feels you should see a physio., he will tell you so. edited by amelia on 26/09/2013

You could also consider seeing an Osteopath. The Osteopathic Centre near Choithram on Al Wasl Road has both Osteopaths and Physiotherapists. I had pain in my hips and went there to see Russell Hill (Osteo.) and he was brilliant. He has also treated DD for a bad back with great results. Would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. edited by amelia on 26/09/2013 Was having similar pain and an appointment with an Osteopath (sorry can't remember his name) and two sessions with a physio and pain went away!

I don't know about neck & shoulder pain, but Marcel Schmidt at PhysioArt restored my faith in physiotherapists as he sorted my elbow after I struggled with it for a year. PhysioArt is in Jumeirah Beach Plaza in Beach Rd. Marcel is not only physiotherapist, he is also a qualified biokineticist. He also gave me a good exercise program for my elbow problems which helped a lot. I think their number is 04 3856677. (Dr Badsha referred met to him and I never phoned to make an appointment so I am not sure about the number).

Any recommendation ladies? The pain (from the neck down to between the shoulder blades) is just not going away with pain killers...
