So our new Dolce Gusto coffee maker stopped working

We purchased a Genio Dolce Gusto machine less than a month ago and today it stopped working.

Nestle and Dolce Gusto numbers are stuck on hold and then the call drops. No Facebook page found. Any idea how to get hold of Nestle?

So more than a month after the purchase and 3 machines later we finally have a working machine. The second one was vibrating A LOT (so much we had to hold the mug so it wouldn't fall) and was louder than the first one. Third was a charm but I must say I constantly worry it will stop working any minute. :D

It makes a smaller cup than I expected but the coffee is good. I had a Senseo which I loved but I couldn't get the nice pods for it. My DH likes the cappuchino option, I can't comment as I drink my coffee black. We bought the Genio as we wanted an automatic machine, didn't want to be fiddling around.

Well they came and took the old one and gave us a new one at the same time. It works and the coffee is lovely. So happy but I will be registering it for the 18 month warranty.

I finally got through to them, they offered the same to take it away and check it and then replace it. Told them this was unacceptable, they must bring a replacement when collecting the broken on. She said this was not possible, told her I would call trading standards and she then said she would speak to her manager and see if this could be done. Quite tempted to ask for my money back.

scotsmumofone and pollydxb1 - Tks for the tips but I didn't have to go that route. Dolce Gusto ended up answering the phone the next day. MirdifIngrid - Customer service was quite ok, although they didn't come to collect the machine on the agreed day and I had to call asking for an explanation. They collected it last week and I'm waiting for it to be fixed or replaced. I'll post once it's sorted out.

Did you get anywhere with Nestlé? We bought the Genie at the weekend and didn't even get one cup of coffee! And no answer from the (un)helpful line. Taking it back tomorrow.

Hi Ours is nescafe solve gusto not nestle maybe try them? Also ours is made by krupps so they might be worth a gp?
