Wow cant believe it! its only 10Euros in France:\: I should probably set up a sophie La Girafe business and make a huge margin :cool: Stovetop, I have family visiting from France in 10days if u'd like one Thanks Pepito, managed to get one already :) Though I must admit, DD still prefers to suck and chew on Mommy the Human instead of Sophie the Giraffe.

Well I don't know about Pottery Barn Kids, but I recently bought some furniture in Pottery Barn and I was surprised that it was only slightly more expensive than the US price. What I bought cost me USD880 here and the USonline price was USD800, I was expecting there to be a much larger mark-up in the UAE edited by mum2girls on 28/06/2011 agreed - i found PBK accessories (not furniture nor toys they dont manufacture themselves) to be on par with US prices. In fact, many stickers still have the USD amount and it works out near the same in AED. Larger markups on the furniture - about what you've described above.

TBH, DS didn't like his much either as soon as he was old enough to choose his own teether/toy out of his toy selection... Sophie was never touched. She's still cute though and I'd probably still be tempted to buy it. I highly recommend. Luxe Little. Outstanding service and you can choose to pay on delivery and I don't feel their mark up is as rediculous as Pottery Barn's.

If I remember correctly I had seen the sophie soft toy gift sets listed on souq.com few weeks back. I had bought a similar one from a lovely lady on EW last year for my DS...and he loves the soft toy. At that time sophie was not available anywhere in dubai.
