They do the best sweets in town, so you can check them out too
Al Samadi is delicious. Their baklava isn't too sweet or drenched in too much syrup. They are in Deira but not far from DCC and it's pretty easy to find the shop. It's my 1st choice in Dubai. The last time I was there the basic baklava was 100 AED/kilo and a half kilo got you a nice box's worth of baklava.
Another good place for baklava is Wafi Gourmet in the Dubai Mall but it's more expensive.
Both Al Samadi and Wafi will box the baklavas in plastic boxes for easy transportation.
mushypeas is referring to Al Samadi Sweets, and they really do have the best baklava I've had here, much better than Al Reef and Reem Al Bawadi. They are far though in Deira but totally worth it.
Also, Feras Sweets on Dhiyafa (2nd December Street) is supposed to be good, never tried it myself though.
ohh thank you !
