I usually park in Souq al Bahar too, especially if I have visitors. It's an easy and interesting walk through to the fountains.

Park in Fashion car parking ( the first turning after leaving SZR) if you carry on round to 1A 1B there is a fountain in the car park. Go into mall with At the TOP on your right and you get straight outside by More cafe and Vapiano. I left there about an hour ago and spaces in that area!
