Oh my gosh, absolutely NO way! We are a relaxed family, quite often going from one room to another in towels and undies, but this would stop if there were other family/guests, and CERTAINLY a maid in the house. However, I for sure wouldn't not have a maid because DH likes to have his tackle free and easy about the villa. I would firmly tell him to pop it all away until bed time!

Nope, one of the reasons why I don't want a live in maid! I second this!

no, but luckily my DH wouldn't walk around like that in front of a maid. He might wear normal shorts that he uses when he goes for excersize or swim shorts but that's about it.

I was once walking down the stairs in my underwear first thing in the morning, only to come face to face with a complete stranger who turned out to be the daily maid from Helpers. She'd let herself in through the back door, didn't bat an eyelid and said '...not working bell Madam' and carried on with her work. They must see some sorry sights!

So. Are they proper shorts. Or do they have a flap? :D I thought it was a pocket, for where they keep change....:)

No if she is not there my husband does but when she is at work definitely not, even though they look like shorts.

Agreed. It's one thing if you're five, but not when you're 35. I don't walk around in my undies and DH certainly doesn't in his other than a midnight trip to the bathroom. But each to his own, I suppose. Your DH walk around the house in his boxers if you had a maid at home? Forget "letting him", why would he WANT to?

My DH works from home (often in various states of undress!) and this is the reason we don't have a live in maid. Definitely inapproriate and not fair on the maid.

No .. because my maid is very timid and it embarrases her .. I dont want her to feel uncomfortable in my house ! Hubby loves it when she is not around because then he walks around in his boxers !
