Wow, that's a great deal! I think I might have to go down that route - I mentioned a new stroller to DH the other day and he just about passed out. I know what you mean. We have now a total of 4.

I just got the Techno XLR for 300aed on dubizzle in very very good condition :) I'm so happy I waited, couldn't afford the regular price. I think it's fabulous. It feels really great, not heavy at all and it fits into my Yaris boot (what boot? :P). I like that the seat is very wide. My 3 month old looks lost in it hehe. It doesn't lie flat but almost. HTH

Thanks for all the info :). My sister has a Techno XLR and really likes it, but I just thought I'd consider the Bee too as a friend has it and raves about it. Seems quite pricey for what you're getting, though.

Fyi, Kermi, I've checked quinny zapp xtra in Babyshop and the salesman told me that I need to take off the seat in order to fold the stroller into small size. Thought that it's not very convenient feature. edited by dramaqn on 24/02/2012 Thanks for the info, dramaqn!

Hi DC, I have both a bee and a MCL. In terms of folding the MCL takes up less room and is lighter than the bee. The basket on the bee is much better, can put a bag on the bee whilst empty and wont topple over where as the MCL will. Bee lies flat as does the techno (not the triamph). Accessories for MCL much cheaper as is the system. If it was for a newborn would choose the Bee,if for a toddler would choose the MCL IMO.

I would go for Maclaren in the heartbeat a) for the price b) for different models in Maclaren c) stability on the bumpy road/curbs. I have Maclaren daytripper (the one that reclines into relaxed position, not full) for 3 years now and it's still ok. We have a maclaren techno xlr. It reclines fully, and it's easy to fold, lightweight and sturdy. Cons are, the storage basket is difficult to access, and, when folded, it's still quite long and doesn't fit in regular stroller travel bags. We bought the maclaren for travel only, and I'm planning to check out the quinny zapp xtra, which folds really small. Check also www.strollersandprams.com for some detailed reviews.

Hi DubaiCat, I have a maclaren triumph and its lightweight/durable and folds small which makes it especially conenient for travelling/airports. I don't like that the seat recline is a buckle which is inconvenient. Also keep in mind that the seat doesn't go to a flat recline but it reclines enough so that my child can sleep in it. I also feel that the shopping basket is small and hard to access. I suggest you check out stroller weight/recline/basket of the bee and compare. Bugaboo make good strollers and I've heard good things about the bee. Have fun stroller shopping!

I'd like to get another single stroller for when I'm out with only one of my children or for when DS wants to walk. My sister recommends Maclarens but I think the Bee looks quite handy. Does it fold down small and is it light? Anyone got any experience of either to share? Thanks :).
