alexswe - I think we must be taking the same class at Zen. Were you my partner once? I ask because you have same name as the instructor and the person I partnered with had pointed that out at the time. Anyway I'm not able to go as often this month because my dd is out of nursery until the fall term starts, so I have to do some exercising on my own at home for now (so basically not doing very much exercising), but plan to be back on regular schedule mid sept. Also find it relaxing. :) aurora06 - our lease is up in sept and we're also looking in VH and AR, and having a hard time deciding between them. We just looked at 7 places today, mostly in ranches. I think that either community would be a good choice for a family, so it just depends on what your needs and budget are. VH villas are new and offer more for your money but you would sacrifice the established community feel of AR. That said, a lot of families are happily living there. Have you actually looked anywhere yet? Good luck with your search. It's really hard in this heat. Clare JLT - regarding maternity clothes, I also second the Isabella Oliver suggestion. The clothing is pricey but well made with nice fabrics. AIZone in MOE used to have designer maternity jeans (citizens for humanity) and maybe still do. They're expensive but really worth it imo if you like to wear jeans. Blossom was having a sale on at least half the store a few weeks ago, but that might have ended with Ramadan. (Sorry I don't have any other suggestions but hope it helps to have another opinion.)

hi alexswe..american hospital have ward tours at designated times run by a lady called frooz - she is the head midwife i believe. her mobile is 0505585901 i was lucky and popped in on a quiet day and did a little tour around but i think frooz would be able to ask any questions you have and would be more thorough. all the best :)

Hi ladies!! Hope you are all well. I'm so happy Ramadan is over, back to coffee shops and eating in public. Welcome to the forum lizard! Where do you go for the prenatal yoga? I'm with Zen Yoga, and I love it. Helps me to feel energized. Finally booked us in on the antenatal classes at Health Bay, so my husband and I will go every Friday from the 14th of September, I'm so excited:) Maybe I will see one of you ladies there?? Think it gets fully booked pretty quick. Does anyone here know if it is possible in Dubai to get a "pre-tour" to the hospital you will give birth in? In Sweden you go and check out the facilities before and get info about everything you need to know. Would like to do that in American Hospital. Starting to get heavy now, I can really feel him growing so much and me getting bigger. Have some pains in lower back and hips but trying to rest as much as possible, helps not working huh! I'm going in to week 29 and he kicks ALL the time, amazing but tiring at night. Big movements too, not just the "little" kicks anymore!! Take care everyone! x

Hi everyone! I've been following the thread for awhile but have only just signed up for the forum because I wanted to introduce myself to the November crowd. First of all, congratulations to everyone, it's really lovely to see how excited you all are about your pregnancies, and how supportive everyone is. I'm 25 weeks along, due with #2 on Nov 30 and so far all is going well. I'm taking prenatal yoga classes which are really helpful for all the aches and have finally broken out the body pillow again which was indispensable from about week 22 onward during my first pregnancy (if anyone is having trouble getting comfortable at night, I highly recommend a body pillow!! I got mine at Premaman at Dubai Mall, it's fabulous). I've lived in Dubai for three years and my DD is two, was born at Medcare. Dr Natalyia from Cooper Health delivered her and since she's a genius (Dr N) she is trusted doctor again for this one. Last time around we used a doula, which was an absolutely wonderful experience to help ease my worries and fears of giving birth in a foreign country. I haven't decided yet if we'd like to use a doula again because I just feel more confident this time around and don't know if she would be as necessary this time (plus the one I used last time has since moved away). Still, it was nice to have an additional hand to hold (or crush) during labor, so we'll see! :)

Ladies, I just saw a Bugaboo Cameleon advertised on dubizzle as brand new, still in original packaging for just AED 1,600 which is an absolute bargain. Just thought I'd let you know as that is what I have used for DD no 1 since birth and have found it to be an excellent pushchair. It's under the Baby section on Dubizzle.com. Seller is located in Zaabeel (Trade Centre area).

Hi All! Glad to see we have a few more ladies! Just had my 28 week followup today, can't believe how fast time is flying! AW - Thanks so much for the rec on maternity clothes, I will def try and order something from Isabella Oliver! Also, I have three little dogs, and maybe because they are toy dogs and not known for their dalmatian-like intelligence, they haven't really changed their behavior much. But I must caveat that they have always been obsessed with me and followed me from room to room. So, maybe they have sensed something and I have insulted their intelligence for no reaso! Since I am a ftm, I am very curious to see how they will react though! Umm Shamsa - Your story about your dog was so funny! :) I have registered for group antenatal classes with Cecile (been a midwife/antenatal/postnatal specialist for 20 years). She came highly recommended by my doctor, Dr. Elsa at City. So, I thought I would follow her recs and go with her. Healthbay was my second choice! Does anyone know if there are any mommy and me classes - similar to the antenatal classes but for postpartum offered in Dubai? Would be quite educational for FTMs to gain even more information through a group setting with new moms. Also, the time has come where our lease is up in sept, and I was wondering which area you guys recommended for families - i.e. community with lots of families, stroller walks, dog friendly, safe, etc. We have been looking into Arabian Ranches and Victory heights. Does anyone recommend one over the other ?

Hi everyone! AW and Awayfromhome15, we have a dog at home who, like last time around, seems to be totally oblivious to the fact that I'm pregnant. When we brought DD no. 1 home from the hospital we introduced our dog to her in her MaxiCosi, however, she was asleep and he didn't even appear to notice that she was a real live being and was more interested in my attention (I hadn't seen him for 4 whole days after all!). Later when she woke up and cried he jumped out of his skin and nearly had a heart attack. It was quite a funny moment until he seemed to think that she was some kind of rabbit and kept trying to jump in to her moses basket! AW, how lovely that your Dalmatians are giving you some extra loving~

Hi aw, welcome over here in November! I have three cats, two we fought with us from uk and 1 rescue from here. They are my babies and everyone thinks I'm a mad cat lady! Nothing weird yet, but I know they're going to be super put out nice baby arrives especially as they think the nursery is their daytime nap room and it will be out of bounds! Pets have very good instincts though, maybe your doggies are picking up on the hormones, that's really sweet though. Thank you Clare JLT and scratch for your thoughts on antenatal, I'll have to make my decision soon! Have a fab day all

Good morning ladies I’m somewhat new to this forum as I’m following the October due date forum (I’m due on October 31), but I’ve enjoyed reading your posts and have gained some great insights as well. DH and I are expecting our first baby, and have most of the scans and testings done (I hope). I just received my results for a gluclose test and all seems fine. We’re delivering at City Hospital with Dr. Britt and have our second appointment with her tomorrow. ClareJLT regarding your question on maternity clothes, I actually purchased a few items online from Isabella Oliver which was a nice change from some of the bulkier maternity clothing options out there. They have some very nice wrap around dresses, tops, trousers, etc… DH certainly got a kick out of some of the pieces as he was surprised that mat clothing could look so stylish. We’ve also been looking at the antenatal classes at Health Bay and at City, and while I like the pay as you go method at City, I was hoping for some weekend classes (which HB offers). I’m working up until the delivery, so my week nights are normally free to relax and go to the gym, so evening classes might be a bit much. Anyone have any pets? Have you experienced any different/peculiar behaviours? Our little rescue Dalmatian has taken up resting his head on my bump in the evenings and our older Dalmatian has become very protective of me all of sudden, following me as I move from room to room. Have a great day ahead!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes and the good info on the ante natal classes. I think the Healthbay 4-wk course sounds like a good option for us so will suggest it to hubby. Looking forward to getting some good info and hoping it will help make it all more "real" for us! UmmShamsa: Great tip on the Angsana spa, sounds like just the sort of treat I like! AlexSwe: Cairo was a bit crazy to say the least so glad for a bit of normality being back in Dubai. It really feels like a long time ago already and we've only been back 2 months. Would love to swap stories and hear more about your time in Iran. Re the coffee mornings - if you look under the Out & About tab there is an Events bit which has all the upcoming groups etc. That's where I found this Thursdays Bumps & Babes listed. Hope all bumps are coming along nicely. My little one has been going for a full on work-out this afternoon! It's amazing how much she moves now. Nadia x

hi all... just a quick note re ante natal classes. we delivered DS at city in 2010 and did their ante natal class and i highly recommend the classes if you're delivering at city. it is run by the head midwife, a fabulous sth african woman with guest visitors for different sessions. another benefit they told us about in 2010 is that if the normal maternity floor is full when you check in and you have attended ante natal at city, they will "upgrade" you to the VIP floor. it didn't happen for us but we also loved getting familiar with the hospital facilities and staff.

Hi awayfromhome :) So we've only done week 1 of antenatal at Healthbay so far and we found it really well paced out and not particularly overwhelming (which was my main concern). You get a nice 20 minute break in the middle for snacks/drinks and to mingle with the others which was really nice. The midwife who does the class is very thorough and allows you to ask as many questions as you like. We originally thought a 3 hour session sounded strangely long and perhaps a bit uncomfortable for me sitting still and in the same chair for that long, but it really went quickly and I cannot wait for the next session already. I have heard good things about the ones at City too, so I guess it depends on whether you want the longer or shorter sessions really. Thanks to you and UmaShamsa re. maternity clothes. I am going to have a good look online this week. UmmShamsa, I've just booked myself in for the massage you recommended for Wednesday - can't wait already. Scan and doctors appt. in the morning, then massage in the afternoon. Brilliant. AlexSwe - I don't think the cofffee mornings are listed more than 1 week ahead, so I am going to look again after Ramadan and see what dates come up for the last week and then I'll definitely be looking to join from the end of the month.

Hi everyone and welcome Nadiadk and Yasmeenism! Hope everyone is well and your bumps are good. ClareJLT, thanks for the info on things to buy here, I can't wait for my John Lewis shop on Thursday, and we're going to finally make a decision on prams! Re maternity clothes, I know what you mean, as UmaShamsa said, ASOS is a good one to try, I had ome delivered to Dubai and took around 10 days with no p&p costs, so they're a good option. For those of you who have bought a bugaboo recently in Dubai, do you know when Just Kidding will be getting the 3rd generation cameleon? It's due to be launched in September, so I'm tempted to wait but don't know how easy it will be getting it in Dubai or whether I should order from UK. I'm deciding on antenatal classes at the moment between health bay for the 3 hour x 4 weekend sessions on a Friday morning or those at city which are an hour an evening for 8 weeks. Did anyone fine the health bay ones too long or are they well broken up? Sorry so many questions today! Have a lovely day!

I am really struggling finding nice maternity clothes. I have tried all the usual suspects - Mothercare, Destination Maternity, H&M etc but it's difficult. Anyone know of anywhere else where they sell them? I am finding myself wearing the same few things all the time now, which isn't a huge problem as I don't work, but it would be nice for my husband and friends to see me in something different once in a while! Try Blossom Mother & Child in Dubai Mall. They have gorgeous stuff but super pricey. Alternatively asos.com also have some nice maternity stuff and delivery to the UAE is quite quick. Of course isabellaoliver.com also has some lovely stuff. If anyone else has any good ideas, please share. My DD no. 1 hastaken to tugging on my clothes and has ruined a few of my favourite maternity dresses which is a shame as I need them now!

Hi ladies!! Now I'm not the new girl anymore, hehe. Welcome yasmeenism and nadiadk:) Hope you are both well. Nadiadk: It must have been crazy living in Cairo this past years with everything happening there? How did you cope? I guess you are as relieved as I am being in Dubai? I will also deliver in American hospital:) I am seeing Dr.Öksuz at Health Bay Polyclinic, and from what I've heard they have some good classes you can go to. We will take a antenatal class that lasts in 4 weeks, once a week. One of my friends did that one and she liked it. ClareJLT and Louve: THANK YOU so much:) We went to "Just Kidding" last weekend and actually ended up buying a Bugaboo pram, I fell in love with it and my husband as well. The staff there was so much better than mothercare and we got amazing help so we had a lovely experience and we are so pleased:) We also bought a car seat, maxi-cosi pebble. Now when we purchased our first baby things it feels like I can't stop, just want to get out there again:) ClareJLT: It also helped to stop and think what you really want and then get involved in the store, I don't think I did that in the beginning when we went for pram shopping so thank you again for helping us out with great suggestions. And as for Iran, it was interesting and good learning about different cultures (good skiing aswell) but that was about it, having to cover up everyday and when you are out feeling you are not worth anything as a woman was hard. So we are grateful for the freedom and good living Dubai has to offer:) UmmShamsa: I hear you, can definitely feel a difference in how I'm behaving in traffic but more so in malls and supermarkets, I'm always aware of where my bump is so no one can walk in to me. I think it is a survival thing and like yasmeenism said motherhood kicking in. Where do I find the info about the expat woman organised coffee morning in the end of the month? Looking forward meeting you guys:) Going in week 28 now so finally made it to the third trimester witch is exciting:) Not long now until November!! Can't wait. Take care everyone. Alex, Xo

Hi everyone and welcome Nadiadk and Yasmeenism - I am amazed at how many of us there are on here now, it's fantastic. Over the past few weeks I have also been really tense in the passenger seat in the car. My poor husband wonders what on earth is going on when I keep gripping onto the car handle and making eek noises! I am also worried about people bumping into me in the shops and feel like I should be wrapped in bubble wrap or something to protect myself! UmmShamsa - Thanks for the Angsanaspa info, I might book myself in for this week. Sounds lovely and a great price aswell. Hard to find in Dubai. I just thought I would let you know that we started our ante-natal classes last Friday at HealthBay Polyclinic (they're on Al Wasl road). They are 3 hour Friday sessions over a 4 week period. I believe there are also evening sessions available. I must say, I really enjoyed it. Being in a room with all those pregnant ladies was really lovely and we learnt a lot in the session so money well spent. I can't wait for this Friday's session already - birthing positions. It's lovely to share it all with others and husbands too.

So ladies, it's time to pamper ourselves before we get too big to really enjoy stuff and the real hard work begins. During Ramadan Angsana spa is giving a 40% discount on their rhythmic pregnancy massages from Sunday to Wednesday (i.e. not Thursday or weekends). Yesterday evening DH was on bedtime/bathtime duty for DD no. 1 so I sneeked off to the spa and had a really lovely treatment for a reasonable AED 231. Just thought I'd share with you!

Welcome Nadiadk and Yasmeenism! Yasmeenism, I'm sorry, I'm not able to give you any advice regarding low blood pressure and epidurals. You might consider posting this as a separate thread on Pregnancy, Babies & Toddlers as it will get a wider audience. Nadiadk. Cairo....mmmm...not my favourite place at all. I can see why you are relieved at being in Dubai to deliver! Re ante-natal classes, I don't blame you wishing to spread the class over several weeks, there's a lot to take in and sitting down for a whole weekend would be pretty full-on. Last time round (I have a daughter born 01/11/10) DH and I went to the weekend classes at Cooper Health Clinic on Al Wasl Road. If I remember correctly they were 2 or 3 hour sessions on Saturday mornings over the course of one month. I am still friends with all of the girls (and their bubs!) from the class. We all got on very well and met several times when the babies were first born and we meet at least once a month now which is great. Good luck in finding classes that suit you.

Hi there mums-to-be! This is my first post on the forum so big hello to you all :) My name is Nadia, I'm from London and my husband is from South Africa and we've been doing the expat thing for 3 or so years now. We have just moved back to Dubai about 2 months ago after living in Cairo for 2 1/2 years. That was an interesting experience (understatement!) but glad to be able to come back here with baby on the way. I am so pleased there are so many of us getting ready to welcome our little ones in November. Our first baby (a little girl) is due on 13 Nov. People told me the 2nd trimester would go fast but it still amazes me that we are only a day away from the 3rd trimester...so not ready!! We're seeing Dr Braithwaite at the American Hospital and she is really lovely so feeling like we're in good hands for the big D-Day. I stopped working when we moved back here and although getting ready for baby and travelling back home for a few weeks has helped settle me in I'm looking forward to meeting up with some other mums-to-be so glad to hear that you ladies are already thinking about meeting up, count me in! I might pop along to the expat woman bumps and babes coffee morning on Thursday. Bit nervy about going alone but I'm sure they'll be a very welcoming group. Also, we're starting to think about ante natal classes. American Hospital do have classes but they're done over one weekend and we'd prefer to do a course over a few weeks....might be less overwhelming that way! Would love to hear any recommendations you guys have. Nadia x

Hi Everyone! :) First time on this forum... thank you for welcoming! Was going through the forum, lots of us delivering at City Hospital huh? UmmShamsa, I totally resonate with your thought, for the first time in my life when I sat in the back seat today, I put on a seat belt and held the handle. I used to be sucha daredevil and didn't care much about my safety. I think its the motherhood kicking in! Just wanted to know if anyone here with regular low blood pressure during pregnancy has taken an epidural and had un-eventful delivery? Its just that, I usually have low blood pressure and Im interested to take epidural, but, since taking the epidural causes severe hypotension in normal patients, I was wondering if I take it, Ill just end up having a C-section because of fetal distress or something. :-/

Hi everyone, how are your bumps growing? Are you still sleeping at night? My little lady has taken to karate or something similar seemingly from the moment I get in to bed until about 7am. It seems that she's kicking all the time at the moment. Anyway, the real reason for my post is to see if any of you are finding yourselves behaving totally irrationally in the car, especially when you are in the passenger seat. This weekend DH and I were in the car and I found that every time we passed a junction, a roundabout or a slip road where a car could potentially come in to my side of the car I was behaving like a totally psychotic back-seat driver. Yep, I was grabbing the handle above my seat, the seat-belt, my belly and basically acting like a complete idiot. Eventually we managed to laugh this off, remembering that I was exactly the same during my first pregnancy. Is this just me? Oh that and of course being terrified of people walking in to me or shoving me with their bags in shopping malls.... Oooh dear, only another 12 or so weeks to go and then, of course, I'll be even worse once the baby is actually in her car seat too :)

Welcome AlexSwe :) Wow, living in Iran must have been very interesting. No wonder you're loving Dubai though, such freedom for us here. So far we haven't all met up as a group, but are hoping to do so at one of the expat woman organised coffee mornings end of August/beginning of September. Hopefully you can come along too, it's going to be so lovely meeting everyone and talk 'baby'. I thought I would add in my bit about prams. We were so confused when we were looking and I found it really stressful. I then decided to work out firstly what I needed, rather than what looked good and what I wanted. I then went into Mothercare and they showed me a few options, were really clear explaining things and we limited it down to the Mothercare Spin and the Mothercare My4. We ended up going for the My4, which they've actually now discontinued (so we got it at a reduced price) mainly because the basket on the My4 is much bigger and the handle comes up higher for when my tall husband needs to push the pram. I really liked the Spin though and it's lightweight and folds up pretty small. I've heard a lot about Bugaboo and Quinny from friends in the UK, and probably would have gone for one of them had I not found the My4. I think a lot of it is down to how you feel pushing it, folding it down etc. Really get involved when you look in the shop and imagine using it every day. Louve - I hope your check up went well and you managed to get a good picture of baby. You said about your hormones, mine have been quite up and down over the past week and i've been crying at tv programmes that you really shouldn't be crying at! Actually I have been feeling a bit sick past couple of days aswell and am hoping that this isn't something that I am going to feel throughout the remainder of the pregnancy (they do say that the third trimester can be similar to the first trimester and I am nearly there as I turn 28 weeks on Saturday). Awayfromhome - hope you're having a great time in the UK and resting up lots too. Are you going to buy many bits in the UK? They're so much cheaper than here. I got a few clothes, baby monitor, breast pump and blankets whilst I was there and wish I'd now bought more. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi everyone, Thanks for welcoming me to the group Awayfromhome15 and Louve:) So excited to get to know everyone here. So, how often do you meet up? Louve: Nice that your husband took care of the four wheel decision:) Mine is trying but we are both a little confused witch one we will pick. We will go to the store Just Kidding to check out the Bugaboo as I don't know much about that brand, haven't seen it in Sweden. Thank you for the suggestion:) Do you know about the Mothercare Spin pram? Any good or bad experiences? I thought that one was quite practical and I like that you can just click on the car seat as well. I struggle a little bit with heartburn at the moment which is annoying.. mostly in the evenings. But it comes and goes away, so I'm not sure if I want to take something for it!? Hope everybody is doing well in the heat. x

Hi all, Great to see more new comers to the group. Guess we will crowd the cafe once we meet :-) Also good to have some experienced moms around. I am sure I can use your advice! Aurora: Great to hear your story about Rome. I can imagine that it must have been such a special time for you guys. Our trip was def also influenced by the baby, but mainly do to heartburn and sweltering in the heat! However, Rome is absolutely lovely! AlexSwe: My husband handled the whole pram thing as this was something up his alley. As ususal when it comes to four wheels he has the decision power. LOL However, as you can probably see from the thread, the bugaboo is trendy and highly recommended in Dubai and elsewhere. (Not that often seen in Scandinavia I think) . It is supposedly the Rolls Royce of multipurpose prams. It is also a bit on the expensive side, but used ones can be found cheaper on Dubizzle. Claire and Scratch: Thanks for your feedback on family visits. We have now agreed that my mum will come mid December and the in-laws sometime after that (prob, Jan or New years) It wasn't easily dealt with. My mum really didn't understand why I needed time alone with the baby prior to her visit. Guess she has forgotten what it is like or perhaps it was different in her day. Anyway, will have to talk it through with her. I did stick to my opinion and feel happy about it. Thanks for that advice Scratch. I have appointment for a check-up tomorrow and hope to see the little one in a scan. No new cravings or complications, although my hormones seem to be acting up again. I find that really frustrating. It is so annoying not knowing whether your reactions are real or multiplied by hormones!!!!!

Hi everyone and a big welcome to the newbies. Just wanted to pop on and say hi to you all from the UK. Hope everyone and their babies are doing well. I feel so unprepared as haven't bought anything apart from cot and changing unit. I keep on thinking there's loads of time but then I realise it's creeping up! Anyway Best wishes for the end of Ramadan and hope to catch up with you all at the end of the month when I'm back x

Hi everyone!! Hope you and your bumps are all well in the heat. This is my first post as I'm new to this webpage. My name is Alexandra and next month I've been in Dubai for a year. Loving it, maybe not so much now when I can't really be outside:) but we are happy here! I'm from Sweden and my fiance/husband (depends where we are) is Australian. He works in Security so we travel with his job. Before Dubai we spent 2 years in Iran, very struggling place so Dubai is paradise for us. I'm not working at the moment, sure miss it a lot sometimes! So I say like you Hana, if any of you guys feel lonely here is another companion:) I due 10th of November (same as you scratch):) 2nd pregnancy but hopefully first baby. It is a boy and he is kicking like a champion! I feel good in my pregnancy (finally, after 3 month of extreme nausea) it stopped in week 18 and now I'm going in 27 and feel a lot stronger. I'm going to Prenatal Yoga at Zen Yoga, witch I really enjoy. Lovely group of women and the teacher is brilliant. Something I really recommend. So excited to find this thread with ladies going through the same thing at the same time! I have like a million questions about everything, haha so I don't really know where to start!! but at the moment we are stuck in the pram jungle, so any suggestions there are super welcome. So I found out last ultrasound that I will give birth in American Hospital, do you guys have any experience about that hospital or heard anything? My doctor told me they have the best midwifes?? Looking forward talking to everyone and maybe catching up? You all seems to be so nice here!! Take care ladies:) Hope to hear from you soon. Many hugs!!

Hi Scratch and UmmShamsa - thanks for your opinions on the isofix, I hadn't (naively perhaps) thought about small parking spaces, the baby crying etc. I am thinking so practically in some ways and then just not thinking in other ways, so it's definitely good to get your opinions as you've both been there already with your first borns, so it's all great information for us newbies.

hi UmmShamsa, my first ds was also a november 2010 baby, how funny! this bub is due on the same day (10/11/12) if it comes on the due date that will be a pretty cool birth date, but we'll see when he/she decides to arrive, my dr says that caucasians are almost guaranteed to go over their due date so i won't hold my breath on that. Clare JLT, i also wanted to chime in with you and agree with UmmShamsa that the isofix is a great investment rather than faffing about with the seatbelt every trip - one less thing to stress about if you have a crying bub on your hands. We got our base on line from "good baby" and they delivered to us COD but i remember DH had to do quite a bit of research to make sure we got the right base for the car seat we had. we have the bugaboo with maxicosi combo and it works very well with the adapters. had a great app with dr raj this afternoon - she is so lovely and calm and kind and feeling very excited to deliver at american hospital this time around. looking forward to meeting you all soon!

Hi ClareJLT, yes, it's quite exciting having two babes due at almost exactly the same time especially given that #2 was a surprise baby that we didn't plan at all. Feel free to ask any questions that you like although I may not be the best person to help you - I seem to have forgotten so much! Expat Woman is such a fantastic resource - lots of the ladies really helped me out with DD #1. Re the MaxiCosi, to be honest, I found the Isofix an absolute godsend. Attaching the MaxiCosi using the seatbelts can be a bit of a challenge if you're alone or in a car park where the spaces are quite small (think MOE car park!) especially if you're in a hurry. Right, DD is just waking up from her nap so I must dash. I'll check in again in the coming days. So glad to have found you all!

UmmShamsa - good to have you on here. It's nice to know we can ask you anything as you've been through this before :) How lovely that your second baby will also be a November baby like your first. Really sorry but I don't know about the adaptor for the car (for Bugaboo and Maxicosi). I have a My4 pram and maxicosi carseat, but not even planning on buying an isofix for the car until after the baby is born. Maxicosi's are really easy to strap into the car, so I might just do that instead of buying an isofix. aurora06 - I don't have any cravings at all, just eating lots of bread still and needing, yes needing, chocolate! I'm tempted to try out your peanut butter and banana sandwich on toasted brown bread just for the fun of it :) scratch - really good to hear your opinions and experience on the inlaws, I've definitely taken on board what you've said. It's going to be such a new experience having a little one around and even though all help will be appreciated, some privacy and respect is definitely still needed.
