Morning ladies, Is there anyone out there who has used Nannies Dubai and could you please let me know how it has worked out for you. I am thinking about getting a maid for a full day (live out) 6 days a week with them. They are asking for a 3000 aed deposit for the process to get started - so before I do this I would really appreciate some feedback.
Thanks alot!

Wind777, that sounds like a fair price to me for the hours you mentioned. I don't think you are overpaying because the maid has to pay for her own rent, food and travel expenses. Most live in maids will earn close to that and not have to pay for the other stuff. Even if you are using an agency maid, who has the above provided, you are still getting a good deal (works out to approx Dhs 15 per hour vs Dhs 30/35/40 that most agencies charge).

Since it is maid related ! Can anyone tell me if having a live out, for 5 days a week, 6 hours per day, for 2000 dhr is fine or not? Am I not overpaying?!

Nanniesdubai is really a good one! got a British Governess from them, super happy! She speaks 4 languages, drives kids to school and after school activities! she is doing such activities with kids like horse riding together, arts and crafts, educational staff! so its a good value for only AED 3000 Agency fee :)

Nanniesdubai have a terrible reputation, you only have to google complaints/reviews about them. You are obviously working for them and spamming this forum.

I'd rather not use a company that makes it's employees sound like a car in it's advertising.....

Hi whitecap , is it possible for you to give me the contact details of your live out Nanny? I am searching only for live out nannies and it seems like mission impossible... also if someone knows of any other live out Nanny or agency that can place you one would be much appreciated! Many thanks!

I payed for the three nannies to the company but they find awful candidates and when I told that I did not like the service the manager was very rude with me. Dear parents I suggest you not to work with those people. They are fraudsters who can only steal money.

we used, unfortunately. we just throw 3000 dhs to garbage and wasted our time by believing that nunniesdubai can help us to find babysitter. they are lie a lot and do nothing, they concentrate on collecting money from people instead of providing services that they claim

@ ay2zee I had both, for 1 month I had a live out then I hired a live in, I just had to become flexible as it was taking time to find a good live in maid, but my live out was great, Sri Lankan lady also I would have kept her permanantly but I travel alot and needed to sponsor as they travel with me.Nanniesdubai placed both maids with me. Live out salaries are higher because of the maids paying for their own transport, accomodation and visas, I paid 2500 for 1 month, maybe you can pay less.

Thank you for sharing your experience whitecap. It's good to hear that you finally found the right one! May I ask if your current maid is living with you or is she working full time but living out? I am not expecting to find the right one the first time around , but I guess I have no other choice but to try them since I am looking for a live out maid and unfortunately there are not many companies who offer this service.

No I never did find any suitable maid through them. By the way, just to clarify things, they don't take anything from the maid's salary or have anything to do with how much we decide to pay the maid.... That must be the case for live-in, because the employer sponsors the maid. However the OP said they provide a sponsored, live-out option for 2500 per month. If only a decent company actually provided such a service!

That is discussed and decided between the client and the candidate. As I wrote already, in most cases Nannies Dubai would never even have met the candidate in person - they just get some nannies numbers off Dubizzle, call them up to see if they are still looking for a job, and then acquire and forward their CV's to us(the clients).

Thank you humdinger for sharing this with us. Are you still using a maid from them? Green-ish you are so right - this really is a business that is needed in Dubai - hopefully soon :(

They also have a live out option. Which is great because you can still have your privacy during the evenings :). It costs a bit more though compared to having a full time live in. Think it is around 2500aed per month for AR And you don't pay the sponsorship costs etc? That actually sounds like a pretty good deal. But the cost of the maid (2500) you could probably do it under your own sponsorship paying less salary and getting someone you chose and not off a database, plus of that 2500 what are they going to pay the maid? I bet its not even half that :( :\: It seems from this discussion that it's a slightly shady operation and you raise a good point...I wonder what the maid receives? However, in theory it's a business that's really needed in Dubai. AED2500 per month for live-out and sponsored by someone else is a bargain! If the agency is any good, the maids could still be paid 'well' out of that fee; no hassles for the employer if a maid doesn't work out...send her back and trial another one; no need to share your home with someone else (many families don't like having a maid living-in or don't have room); don't need to pay for flights home, medical expenses food etc or to keep her busy during long vacations away; the company assumes all responsibility for the maid's actions when she's not working in the home etc etc etc Where's that member who was looking for a business idea?? It seems Nannies Dubai needs some proper competition!

I recently registered with Nannies Dubai, and while my initial impression about them was quite good, I am now very disappointed with their services. They started sending me many candidates for interview immediately after I paid them the AED 3000 registration fee, and I was very impressed. But it soon became apparent that many(or maybe even all) of the candidates were just people that Nannies Dubai found through websites like Dubizzle (where the candidate posts an ad saying they're looking for a job) and Job Wanted classified listings, and then pass on their CV and contact details to me. The candidates were not even screened, as I had specifically requested that I want a nanny who has experience with very young babies, but I was shocked when some of them came for interview saying they had never looked after children(other than maybe their own) before. I was even sent an ACCOUNTANT once ! Many of the nannies never turned up for the interview, many aready had a job by the time I contacted them(which woud be immediately after I was given their detais from Nannies Dubai). I am quite sure that this 'database' of candidates that they talk of is non-existent. Some of the candidates who came for interview had not even heard of 'Nannies Dubai', they just assumed that I contacted them through their job posting on Dubizze. Sorry if I vented a litte bit too much - still desperately looking for a suitable nanny so very frustrated, especially about wasting AED 3000 !!!

It would definitely be much cheaper to sponsor a maid , but I am really not looking to go this route. I would much rather prefer someone with their own accommodation. I have read on their website that they do not charge the nanny or take any fee from her salary... Is there any one out there who has used other companies similar to this?

Tara.k - I have not yet paid the deposit , was planning to do so in the next few days. They will only allow you to choose a maid from their database once the 3000 aed has been deposited into their account. Oliviertennis - please do let us know where we could find these comments. Does Majestic nannies also offer the same service, at a similar price? Have you used them?

Yes! No need to worry about the sponsorship :). If you are planning a trip away , just let them know in advance and they will find other jobs for her! Sounds good, but I would really like to find someone who has used them already..
