Hi flower33! How are you and hows your LO? DS arrived on the 14th. Slightly lower weight of 2.7 kilos and some jaundice but hes feeding well so were hoping all will be well very soon inshallah. Hes feeding every hour so I guess he knows he needs to pick up on his weight! I guess you can tell feeding every hour means mummy hasnt slept more than an hour or two since the birth! Its all worth it for him to get nice and plump though lol Would love to hear your birth story hun!

TMI: Since yesterday morning I cant stop pooping. I mean like 4+ times a day and its not a little bit either but nor is it loose. I'm 36 weeks. Am I getting near? I wonder if it actually means anything at all. Thx charlieb, JBR and desertrose! :) I have no idea, it happens when i am nervous! With all pgcies at the end i drunk red rasberry leaf tea, walked a lot nd exercised. 2 days later labof started. Except this baby, did membrane sweep nd 3 days later had my baby. :) edited by Flower33 on 13/08/2012 edited by Flower33 on 13/08/2012

Congratulations Flower33!!! Hope you and the little one are doing well!! Hope everyone else is doing well too....time is getting closer for most of us, I'm not due until end August (30th), hoping it will come a little earlier lol. Bit fed up now, especially with heat and feeling heavy and uncomfortable. Suffering a bit with carpal tunnel in my right hand/arm and have had a few painful sleepless nights because of it, anyone else suffering with it?

My baby is here! (it took 2 days to complete my short typing!) Another successful VBAC! Our daughter was born 1st of August. 2 days of irregular contractions followed by spontaneous 1 hour toughest contractions, and she was out with few pushes, my eternal Thanks to God for making it easy. I expected to be longer and harder. Definitely I wasn't ready to have the baby that day, as I was tired and wanted to rest and have energy for the real day. Oh how I was begging mentally at home for epidural and CS, but was away from hospital! by the time I reached, it was useless to have any pain relief and was pushing. We are both ok, apart from little internal tear , hemorrhoids due to pushing and cracked nipples :( Oh wow congratulations to you! So happy for you :) and lovely to see labor was so easy and that c-section birth plan was never needed in the end! Good luck to you all xoxo

Pilatesmama - I'm with you on this, i have had similar for weeks. i have been told its pelvic dysfunction (SPD http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/antenatalhealth/physicalhealth/pelvicpain/ )which is quite common and caused by the joints non-aligining because they are softened. Yesterday i had pains down my right leg to my foot (like sciatica) i too was crying in pain! You could have Braxton Hicks - I've had them too and they hurt, i can only imagine what the real thing will be like! Have you spoken to your dr or midwife? The joys of late pregnancy hey!!!

I am 35 weeks now . Last nite I had a severe ache\soreness and shooting pains from my vaginal area into my back and baby was moving a lot. I was crying from the pain. It lasted about 10mins. Was this a contraction? Is this normal?

Hi, Hugsys ?at least you have a set date! Are you still on bed rest? May these last 3 weeks fly for you. Hi charlie ?yes heat is getting at me too! My friend brought some feet patches to reduce swell in the feet. Have you tried or heard about them, i might try in few days. Do you ladies feel hot even when the ac is on? My ac doesnt go below 19, otherwise i would turn to 10 seriously. Its hot day and night. Have cerclage removal sometime after 38 weeks, hoping and praying to go bit early, and not to go overdue.

HI LT, Well I was with Dr. Jaimala Shukla untill 27 weeks who transfered me to Dr. Raj later on. I did the same last time as well but had chosen Dr. Luthra @ Medcare. Wasnt a good experiece but the hospital was very close to where I live. But this time did not want to go back to settled with Dr. Raj. She is definitely far better than my previous experience and the all the staff @ AH are really nice, supportive and accomodating. I have had my growth scan and it was B&W 2D. I did not ask if they have 3D/4D facilities since I figured it would be much expensive than the 850 we paid for the 2D. All my previous scans were 3D/4D so I did not miss much this time. I did have a quick tour of maternity section since I had some time to kill between the scan and Dr. appnt and inspite of arriving unannounced at the nurses section, the nurse on duty was very nice to show me around the rooms/nursery/labour room etc. Dont plan on any ante natal classes there since I live in Gardens near Ibn Battuta and its too long a drive and I couldnt be motivated enough hahhaa.

Hi Scorpion I'm actually due in September but i'm also with Dr Raj at AHD. I think she is brilliant, really relaxed and has a 'just get on with it attuitude.' How have you found AHD? I was in the labour ward last week after pulling a muscle down my side and all the midwives are so lovely in there too. Just wondering, have you been / do you plan to go to the antenatal class there? I am going on the weekend of 13th and 14th July. Also, have you had a 3D scan there yet? How many weeks were you? I havent had one yet but was going to ask at my 32 week scan. Good luck with the heat - i'm stuck here all summer too :(

heey all.. Looks like there are 2 Aug due date threads and here I was wondering why the other is inactive.. Well am due on 12th aug, but I doubt i\ll go that long. DS had arrived at 35 weeks, so am just praying to hold on till 37 weeks so its a full term baby. Delivering with Dr. Raj @AH? ANyone else registered with her.. ? Days are getting tougher and nights worse.. Its hot, humid, tiresome with swollen feet, no sleep, terrible back and hip pain.

I'm delivering at Latifa/Al Wasl so might see you at the hospital if you decide to deliver there Desertrose - our due dates are only a few days apart! Wishing you all a healthy & happy last couple of months and a safe and comfortable delivery!!!

Congrats to all those that posted after me! Yep all very quiet here, its defo the heat, I'm feeling really heavy, hot and tired these days, and the sleepless nights have kicked in, no matter what I do, just can't seem to get comfy. hugsys, gosh you've had a bad time of it, I hope the rest of the pregnancy goes smoothly for you! samie10, hope the pillow helps, I have never used one, some women swear by it, and some women just don't see/feel the benefit....it would'nt work for me as i don't like the feeling of a pillow against my belly. Getting a bit anxious about the birth now, my first one took over 30 hours to grace us with his presence!!! The longest 30 hours of my life!

August thread is so slow! Whats going on ladies? Are there not that many of us for this month of delivery or are we just too frustrated with the heat right now?! I'm excited today as its the weekend so I'm not going to be alone all day long for a few days and by Sunday I will be just 6 weeks away from having this baby out! Good luck to everyone I hope you're all doing well :) Flower33- you got mail... finally! Sorry I've been so slow.

Couldnt see the pg board for a few days, something wrong with my phone :( How is everyone doing? August mamas are quite, may be its the heat :) congrats and welcome tamieg1! We are just 1 day apart. My due date is 9th! Aww, it will be lovely surprise to everyone! Back to gowns, i just try it b4 i purchase, they wouldnt mind :) have no idea about sizes, it keeps changing for me, can not rely on numbers anymore ☺ Hugsys, it hs been really tough months for u nd ur dh. Hopefully you will be free from these s soon the baby comes! mail me at ...this time i registered with 2 hospitals pvt nd govt. Corniche government hospital is great and mid wife led deliveries mostly. Mother and baby friendly hospital. Midwifes r lovely from uk nd SA , respect ur wishes and follow birth plan. They r pro natural and support vbac. As for me, we r all ok, my kids keeping me busy. I already lost track of days, thinking its weekend all the time as no more school for my kids. Busy with sorting things at home, preparing things for the baby. Hope to hear from everyone soon :) edited by Flower33 on 18/07/2012

Salam Hugsys, Please take care if yourself and the baby, no more nasty surprises... Yes i would love to have a look at your cs birth plan, i prepared VBAC birth plan and showed to my midwife and happy with it. I guess I didnt learn my lesson yet from my emergency cs, and didnt do cs birth plan! ?I am a slow learner i guess ?i am so desperate to have vbac and denial about emergency cs. Thanks for gentle reminder. There are few thing i will be insisting if i end up having cs and good to note it down instead of arguing with nurses at that time!!!! Pls email me at edited by Flower33 on 18/06/2012 edited by Flower33 on 20/06/2012 Hey Flower33! I have only just seen your post!! I'm so sorry I must have just missed it. Thank you for your concern. I'm feeling much better now thank you but currently nursing a man flu! Weve had such a wave of illnesses these last few months! What is going on?! I feel good today. 7 weeks to goooo! How are you feeling? Any updates? What hospital are you at again? I ask because you mention midwife. Medcare is more doc focued meaning I cant imagine the midwives there having any clue if I were to show them my birth plan like you did yours. I'll email you the birth plan today.

Hi ladies, I'm due Aug 10th in Doha. We know the s3x but are keeping it a surprise for everyone else :) Flower33 how would you say the sizing is on the Mothercare gowns? I was there yesterday and they only had Mediums - I am usually a UK 12-14, just wondering if they would be ok or if I should try M&S.

Welcome aboard Batti :) Each hospital has different policies, some allow your own clothing and some will make you dress hospital gown. I am packing two dresses, long one in case if I want to walk in the corridor nd knee dress in the room or labor room. In previous deliveries, Just before going to delivery room I had to change to hospital gown. I bought from mothercare knee length ( 2 pc per pack) nd can b used for nursing too. Been told For cs hospital gown is a must, no idea about Dubai hospitals.

Hellow Guys! Hope everyone doing well. I am wondering what to wear at the delivery? do we have to bring our own clothes or hospital supply the same. I prefer to wear mine. where is the best place to buy them without big pay? Thanks for someone letting me know.

Wohooo 8 weeks left!! Hugsys, hope u dont mind me mentioning here?! Just read about panic attacks in other thread and hope you are feeling better this week. I am glad u r having scheduled cs, you will be more relaxed and prepared. Please discuss and insist on pain control with dr post cs. I wish i was prepared when i had cs, and pain was terrible with only 1 or 2 days ( cant remember if it was 2 days) injection pain killers. Hello hun, how are you? How are you feeling today? I'm doing much better thank you. I've been through 101 things since getting pregnant including rupturing cysts, bed rest due to rib nerve pain and food poisoning... eeeek! But what can you do? I'm just glad I can now start the countdown! I've actually written a c-section birth plan. Even though I am told theres no need there are still things I want to make sure happen the way I want them to. Can I send it to you? I would love your feedback! xoxo
