Like others said Mamzar, JBP, Safa, Zabeel and Creek Park are nice for bbq - just find a nice shaded spot under trees and grass area. Just a tip, don't set up your picnic area too close to bbq area - you won't like all the smell and smoke after a while (specially after you have your food) :) just make bbq in dedicated area and bring it to your picnic place :)

Yes, JBP does, so do Mamzar and Mushriff. I believe Mushriff is also the only park that you can take disposable bbqs and bbq without using a pit (either that or someone was breaking a rule :-P). (most of the beaches have a 'no bbq on beach sign' so don't take disposables on to the beach!)

Jumeirah Beach Park has BBQ stations I believe. I've not been there personally yet but a friend of mine was telling me about it just before summer and said it was great. Has both beach and park aspects for keeping children entertained

safa park is great if you get in early and set up. around the dubai side through gate 4 has some pretty shaded spots.

We want to have a bbq with some other families..any ideas? Ate you looking for a park or restaurant? We do family bbqs at Zabeel Park, kids have a great time, bbq area has individual picnic table with a shade. Highly recommend it!
