Garlic mayo!!! YUM! Any of these fine lebanese restaurants in Dubai? Shawerma House in Al Qusais is another yummy place. At first I am a little nervous about going in these places as you see a big sweaty man carving at a revolving elephant leg which is a little off putting but i got past that and the boyf took me in there. they are so nice and because it was my first time they didnt want to charge us as the owner said it was nice that he brought his GF there!!! I even left with take out of Falafel as it was so good. I always go to trendy places but I discovered that there are so many other good restaurants to eat in and the food can be better than a well known place. Wwe found this fish restaurant in Bur Dubai somewhere, looks like a cafeteria but when you get in there, you pick your prawns and lobster and fish fresh from the counter and they cook it. One of the best meals i have had since I have been here. one thing i wont get used to is the shared toilets though!!

If you wanna get out of Dubai and explore sharjah, and are craving arabic food (Lebanese), then head for abdel nassr street and eat at Jabal Lebnan! So delicious!!!!!!!!! 100 dhs will feed a family of 4! You get 1 kilo of assorted kabobs, Tabouli, Hummus, babaganooge, Fries, and homemade saaj bread right out of the oven ! Yummo! You will not be sorry for getting lost while you find it, cuz it will be worth it! hehehehe. (really its easy to find w/good directions). I love this place, we eat from there once a week. We have a big feast and then just sit in a food coma afterwards melting the surroundings with our garlic breath from all the garlic mayonaise!! so good. nom nom!

Years ago here, there was a restaurant where a little old lady sat at the front making the bread which then came straight to your table, it was so yum I would never want to order anything off the menu...just bring me the bread, lol. :)

Not really a newspaper fan and I wouldn't feel right about wasting all thaat paper ;) In that case you're best off just buying the books, think they're around the 300 mark anyway.

If you go to a Spinneys or BooksPlus they usually have display copies so you can have a flick through and see what's in them before you buy. The family one has vouchers for kids play areas, coffee houses, fast food etc. aswell as a lot of restaurants. The Fine Dining one is just restaurants I believe, although I've never bought this one.

Sorrrrry for this but what's the difference between the family and fine dining? Is it worth getting both? Sounds interesting!!

Le Meridien Village Terrace near the airport - Dhs 195 all you can eat buffet including drink and a live band thrown in too! Blue Elephant great for Thai and Choices for another fab all inclusive buffet, both at the Al Bustan Rotana near the airport. Some great restaurants at the Madinat in Jumeirah, Jambase is a favourite of ours. The Entertainer is a 'buy one get one free' coupon book. Entertainer Family is Dhs 350 and is well worth buying, it also includes vouchers for Ski Dubai, all the waterparks, coffee shops, restaurants etc. etc. You might also be interested in the Fine Dining one, not sure how much that is this year tho.
