Hi ladies,

Anyone had a good head massage (hot oil) before? I was looking to have one on a regular basis as I heard its good for the hair and scalp. Cant afford anything too extravagant or expensive so cant do spas.

Could you please recommend me any salons and a therapist in barsha, tecom, greens or knowledge village who does a good hot oil massage - i believe they normally massage the scalp, neck and shoulders for 20 mins to 30mins and then put it under steam and then wash off? My friends have had one but in bur dubai which costs around 50-70 AED..but need someone more local.

Try beyond beauty salon, in JBR. I havent tried it, but they were giving away vouchers for hot indian oil head massage at a recent children's music concert.. they were sponsors i think..

Hello Nadiya, There is one in Discovery Gardens called Red Lounge Salon. I used to go there for weekly hot oil massage followed by steam and wash treatment (they have a package). I was happy with the outcome. I suggest you avoid going there on weekends as it gets busy. Enjoy!
