Hi,
I got married 2 months ago and relocated from beirut to Dubai. I had 2 full body Laser sessions in Beirut and wanted to know where is the best place to do it here. I have called a couple of clinics and was shocked at the prices!!
Can anyone tell me where i can get it done at a reasonable price without getting scorched or crying out in pain??

I have just started IPL and after 2 treatments on my underarms I am very impressed!! I go to the Karisma Ladies Salon in Media City. The therapist is great and I am thinking of doing some more treatments with them. I purchased a voucher on Cobone in which I got 3 treatments at a great price. In regards to a previous post I can say that Laser/ IPL works best on fair skinned and dark hair, it doesnt completely remove the hair but will reduce the hair growth and it will grow to produce light vellous hair. I had done a bit of research on this topic and one of my freinds in the UK had purchased an IPL machine so I had asked her for some information. She did tell me that it does depend on the individual and that the intensity of the IPL that the therapist uses and how many treatments will vary from person to person. In some cases the hair does not grow back so they don't need to have many treatments!! Hope thats useful:))

I would love to get laser on my upper lip, but the thought of using a razor on my face freaks me out.

Very reputable place for hair removal is Simply Skin on Al Wasl Rd. Now they have 25% off for summer on all their laser and IPL treatments (got this info from their newsletter ;-)) They will never push you for treatment you don't need or won't benefit from,

kaya skin care clinic charges 350per session for 'painless' laser... some new kind of treatment they have... regular laser sessions are 250per session... both sessions are cheaper if u book multiple sessions... Hi abby_n_christina, I just went to a Kaya yesterday evening and the rates they quoted me were not the same. I was quoted 1975AED for the normal laser for 7 sessions, and 2275 AED for 5 sessions of the painfree one. Are these package prices they quoted you? no... the charges they told me were 350 per session for painless and 250 per session for regular... and this was for upperlip and chin areas...

Sorry to butt in here, but I went to a dermatologist here on Beach Rd who I use for normal skin issues and she said that there is no such thing as permanent hair removal. She advised that all it can do it reduce the amount of hair and slow growth but that in the end you will have to continue treatment forever. I was wondering if any of you were advised of the same by the clnics you have gone to and/or if your results have been permanent. It could be she just meant for my type of hair - thick, dark etc. I would love to embark on the treatment but it just seems so expensive for something I have to do upkeep on. Anyone else with thick and dark hair with any advise? Thanks!

I have had a fantastic experience at Rebecca Treston Aesthetics - she is based at euromed clinic. I think her prices are reasonable and she has had great reviews in the local press (which is why I went to the clinic!) http://gulfnews.com/life-style/beauty-fashion/pampered-clean-and-clear-1.760590 Good Luck :)

I go to Dr Suad Lutfi's laser centre at Dubai ladies club. Its a small room just by the spa reception. Full body, head to toe and covering every inch for 3500 dhs !! it merely takes 90 mins. Last i went was 2 years ago, still hairless !

I use Dr Simin - great results so far! Her pricing differs depending on area and you pay less which each session as there is less hair to zap!

Have heard good stuff about Biolite Clinic in Healthcare City but not sure if their prices are reasonable/expensive.
