HOPE YOU GET YOUR KEYBOARD SORTED SOON! :D Not ALL landline calls in Dubai are free either. I was frequently charged for dialling landlines from my home phone. Whether Jebel Ali wasn't considered "Dubai", or whether it was because I was calling from one provider to another I don't know.

A friend of mine was in a hotel in Abu Dhabi a couple of weeks ago, and was told by the hotel, that if she rings my landline, they will charge her 1AED for each call. It could be different if you are in Dubai. As Dubai landline to landline is free. Call the reception and ask them. HTH

We stayed in a hotel for a time and the landline to landline calls were definitely not free. They were charged per 30 second block at some ridiculous rate. Best to check with the particular hotel.

but landline to landline (dubai to dubai) is free so not sure if the hotel cold really charge you for a free service....... Maybe call down to the conceirge and ask......

I would imagine it would be quite expensive though as hotels tend to charge high amounts for calls. PS. Are you aware that by typing all in capitals you are "shouting"?
