Now wondering if anyone can give me number for curtain/blinds company as want black out blinds for bedrooms ?

The Green Community Terrace Apartments have huge terraces. The ground floor apartments have a large terrace area that a lot of people have partly grassed over.
Thank you, I can now add this to our list of possibilities!
San, we are like you - own company - still to to make it pay it's own way, I work full time and no assistance, our kids have left home and we don't need a 4 bed villa any longer although I will miss it :(
I'm in a one bed in Foxhill and absolutely love it (just renewed for the second time)! Although it is getting to the stage where the communal areas are getting a bit scruffy and need a repaint. My place faces the gardens at the back as I wasn't sure how loud it would be the other side with all the traffic. Most days I can sit out on the balcony and just hear birds and the odd voice. We can hear occasional noise from the apartment above but its not disturbing. I also love how close the shops and restaurants are.
I've got a friend on one of the ground floor apartments with a small dog and they don't seem to have any problems. I think the balcony is ok for a small dog or a medium dog if they were given regular walks through the gardens.
Only thing to consider in the area is the high cooling bills. I had a bill of over AED 700 for cooling in september, usually its around 300-400 a month.

The Fox Hill buildings (the big step-like ones) have huuuuge balconies - probably as big as a lot of London gardens! Not sure if you could put grass down (don't know if it'd live?) but size-wise they are very large and good for a dog to chill out on :)
Walls - we occasionally hear out neighbours, but it is rare, only if they are shouting :)
Fazeks -- we are thinking of one or two bedroom as just us and little dog so want to keep costs at a minimum this time -- dh own company versus everything being paid by company this time round so will be big change from 5 bedroom with pool lol
Cornish Pixie -Ones I have viewed have huge balconies so you could have a square of grass planted in a corner or even AstroTurf .
Any one else with any more tips on which blocks are best ?
TIA
Do any of these apartments have private gardens/terraces where it would be possible to plant some grass - we are thinking about moving out of our villa but want/need a patch of grass for our elderly dog?!
Hi,
i live in motorcity for almost 2 years and in a 3 bedroom apartment, i must say i love it but due to travelling alot we are forced to move.
My apartment is a a good location away from the autodrome, next to the pools and play area very very quiet. Lovely neighbourhood and animal friendly.
If you are interested in a 3 bd you can view ours and we got the best landlord...otherwise maybe contact UP/ agents.
All in all motorcity is great. Am at claverton....
good luck
Looking at Motor City apartments and as there are a few up for rent in different blocks so wondering if any of you girls have any tips on which blocks are best ie Fox Hill versus Shakespeare Circus etc etc ?
Also how is the noise from neighbours good soundproofing --better high floor / low floor ?
Dog friendly ?
In fact any tips gratefully appreciated
Thanks in advance
