I had a friend get caught out with some dresses from DVF. I think she made sure it was under US$500, they were on sale, but she still got charged duty.

. Surely, the shipping it over won't cost that much, specially if you have SnS account with Aramex. But you might get charged with tax/duty on the way in through customs, so could negate the saving. Yes, the price difference is still greater than the postage costs. I bought a bag recently from their online store and had it sent to Australia. The bag cost $200 and the postage $90. The bag was on sale. Not sure how much postage would be to Dubai. Do you think the price difference between the online store and the Dubai store is greater than the postage costs?

I've been to MOE store and the prices are obviously more expensive comparing to online stores in US. I think if you are after a particular bag that can be found on sale in the US, it will cost you cheaper to buy that and ship it over. I wouldn't imagine it would even have to be on sale...............

Have a look at www.endless.com (an amazon company) They deliver worldwide. I haven't tried them yet but my brother in law recommended them. He's in NZ but lived in the US.
