I highly recommend Jebel Ali Village Nursery. Both mine went to the JBR branch, but they have one in Umm Sequim too.

Welcome to Dubai! I had my youngest in Seashells for a year before moving her to FS1 at 'big school' and we both absolutely loved it - a really sweet little nursery. They do have a good FS1 programme there as I know people who kept their LOs there for it, but places at Seashells are like gold dust - do go and do the tour and speak to them though. Also, have you considered the new Dovecote Nursery in Jumeirah? It is affiliated to Repton and run by a fabulous and dear friend of mine, so whilst I have no experience of having a child there (both of mine are at school now), I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as Mena Press is just the sweetest, most caring person imaginable and I know she will have the highest standards for the children and their care. I am not sure what the deal is about getting places at Repton from there or whether they do an FS1 year, but it might be worth looking into. Good luck!

Hello, Please could you recommend some nurseries with very strong FS1 programs. I have heard of Kid's Island, British Orchard, Jebel Ali Village Nursery (any particular branch?) and Sea shells. Are there any other nurseries you would recommend and are there any nurseries which have strong affiliations with certain British schools? I arrived in Dubai 10 days ago and have enrolled my 2.4 year old daughter in nursery. I started my school research and noticed that many schools (British curriculum) are closed for registration for FS1 starting 2013-2014. In the event that my daughter doesnot get into school for FS1, I want to make sure that the nursery I send her to has a strong FS1 program. Also, I am pregnant with my second child. Are there any nurseries/schools I should register for immediately? (I am being over cautious!)
