Does what someone is wearing on their feet really make a difference to another person's life? Maybe not :-)!! Absolutely to mine it does! I have nothing else to do but put up this thread and have a little rant about how inappropriate I believe it is to wear Uggs in public. :-p !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It also gave me the opportunity to find out how many bogans there are on EW, I have been secretly stalking Beebers, TDB, AudreyFB, amongst others as they have now come clean on their bogan-ness! So if there is a crazy looking lady following you around the mall sniggering under her breath in an Aussie accent "bogan...bogan" you know its me!

I want to have a little girl just so i can dress her in uggs :) sadly mine were left behind in the states with the intent of gathering my cold stuff during our oct. visit that never took place :( i did however find some similar looking ones at american eagle on sale for 40aed so i bought them in 3 different colors lol

AudreyFB, you gave me a good laugh with talking about Capalaba and the Bogans there. DH is ex Air Force so Amberley area, I know where you are coming from. It makes me laugh when people wear UGGS as a fashion statement ,when they are just slippers! Yes we lived at the Gold Coast where all the girls wears them with a mini skirt and jumper. The guys with board shorts and a hoodie. In saying that I have a pair of uggs on at the moment but bought from the factory at Burleigh. Yippee some one else who agrees they are slippers.

They are worn outside by all in Australia when it gets cold......but in Capalaba park (for you brisvegas ladies) shopping centre nr to where I lived they would wear ugg boots along with their flannelette pj's when it was late night shopping in the winter :) With their friends (bogans also) from Woodridge!!!! Sorry AudreyFB but I disagree as an Aussie there is no way I would be caught in public with my Uggs on! And I am sitting inside all toasty with mine on.

Bogan or not, thanks for reminding me about my Uggs, which have gathered dust at the back of my closet for the past year!! I am going to dig them out because this cold weather succccks!!! We dont allow any bogan's at our parties!!!!! So sorry beeb's! Agree you have to wear boots in the cold, snow and rain, but not UGG's they are slippers! LOL! :) okay then....goes off to bogan friendly party.... SS, I'm with you. I have a slew of dominatrix boots, but guess what. I am not going to be one of those girls walking thru the mall en route to the cinema looking like I borrowed Mom's heels because I am in pain, or I have a broom up my butt. That being said, putting on my 4" stilettos and on my way to girl night. Don't do UGGS on girls' night lol x

Nope - wear them whenever it gets cold usually with skinny jeans. They are not slippers hence can be used outdoors - they are brilliant in the desert when it is freezing. You mean you don't wear them when it's warm out, with a mini skirt? lol lol littleone!!! I would love to "bogan-crash" your party in my big ugly boots! ;) In the climate I grew up in, my parents always stressed function to me with boots, jackets, etc. I guess the tackiness stuck :) I hate being cold. Heck, I am wearing mine inside right now because I am fffffffffffffreeeeeeeeeezing!!!! We dont allow any bogan's at our parties!!!!! So sorry beeb's! Hmmm, I got a new name today then as I wear them out, admittedly not often as I prefer knee high leather boots but if DH and I got for a quick casual movie late at night, there's nothing more toasty and comfy than my UGGS. I do have an old pair I wear at home too :D Apparently sales for UGGS have gone down as so many Z list celebrities (Katie Price anyone) are wearing it and therefore associated with it, Lol!
