Have a look in the Entertainer Dubai Kids (purple one), they have lots of buy one get one free offers on rooms and entertainment. I did this when I rented a room from Emirates British Nursery in Mirdif.

Try Tony Roma's Shekh Zayed Road. Amazing venue for a kids party!!! You can have the whole second floor to yourself and kids will have a blast in their new kids play area. the food is delicious and the staff are super friendly. My daughter and her friends had an absolute blast. Highly recommend it:-)

Have you asked at your daughter's school if they rent out their halls at the weekend? Emirates British Nursery in Mirdif have a large hall that they rent out for parties. You don't say where in town you are so if that's too far to consider, maybe you could contact other nurseries/schools closer to you. I've been to parties in parks in Jan and found it too windy and quite chilly!

Not too hot and not too cold. Perfect for park parties especially if there are a lot of people coming. Buy a few pizzas, cooldrink and water. Put up a few balloons and there you have it.

Hi, one of my friends recently had her son's birthday in Tony Roma's - Sheikh Zayed Road, apparently they have a big second floor where you can rent it out and they will cater to your guests. They have great kids meals and excellent selection of mains for adults. You should really check it out, you can decorate the room as you wish or let them do it for you and you are guaranteed great food at a decent price.

in january the weather is still quite nice outdoors for a party... especially if you were to do a casual day in the park and the kids can run around and have loads of fun... alternatively if you're looking for a small party hall type scenario you should look at all the hotel apartments (the ones in ghusais and deira are the cheapest)... options include Tulip Inn Ghusais, Dunes Hotel, Flora Creek, etc... they offer indoor party halls with food catering for as cheap as AED40/- per head...

What about a trip somewhere - the Al Ain Zoo or Sharjah Wildlife Park??? Think of a place that will entertain the kids but where the adults can sit and enjoy chatting and coffee etc. You can take the cake etc with you and organise something with the cafeteria or coffee shop there.
