Please please help me. My indoor cat Boris escaped last night and I don't know whether he will know how to get home. He is small, grey and bits of white, glossy. He has a collar with a DM tag and a name tag with phone number. I am absolutely devastated. Really dont know what to do.

I was in the restaurant area at the golf club calling him when I had a phone call from the Vets. He had been brought in without collar. A lady had been feeding him the last 2 days very near to us. She hadn't seen any of the multiple posters etc! She contacted feline friends who took him to the vet and he was identified by his microchip. Amazing invention. If I have any advice after this it is to inundate every Dubai animal facebook page; this page, and ask them to share it. Contactdubizzle, vets, posters in every shop, on trees. Go out calling. Leave food out. Spread litter.. If a cat. Most people have good hearts. Thank you everyone. Little monkey face is now planning his next escape...

Right, am going over to the golf club after work to see if I can find him. Two possible sightings of him there,even though one turned out not to be him, and potentially this new possible is the same cat. But I will try ANYTHING at the moment to find my little Boris.

Keeping an eye out every time I walk my dog (in Saheel) but no luck. Did hear a cat today in the park but couldn't see anything and don't think having the dog there helps. Hope your little boy will come home soon!

Sorry it wasn't your cat, but I would give a description or leaflet to the golf club. There are always plenty of cats hanging around (not strays) and maybe the kitchen staff feed some of them so worth letting them know. Good luck

I dont know why? Husband is going to look. It is up in Bon Marche. I just want as many people to be aware as possible. It has been like looking for a needle in a haystack. We could be looking in completely the wrong place. I met a very lovely little cat this morning without a collar and gave him some of the food I'd been shaking. He came when I called Boris! Not the right one though. We are all missing him so much. It is so so so so quiet in the house until the other one starts crying. He never normally makes a squeak. Just want my little boy home

if you have some cat litter left with his smell do some out near the house it helps him find home (his smell) in case he is really lost as you say he is a house cat ... fingers crossed. Also give the picture prints to all the maids, gardeners, car washers in the area they might help finding him.
