Hi,

Has anyone ordered lush online? Is it worth the price difference if I use Shop & Ship? Also, have you ordered from the US or UK website?

I ordered from lush UK, figured it would be easiest and cheapest with it being a UK company. Biggest problem I have is limiting what I buy, I usually fail ?

I've ordered a few times from lush and have it shipped directly here rather than via shop & ship. The price is less than half the price in the shops here plus, because it's an export, at checkout the VAT is taken off so you in effect save another 20%. The shipping charges are ok and it calculates the cost at checkout so you know how much it is. Delivery is via UPS (or at least due to the weight of goods I order that's who it comes by) and delivery is about 2-3 days from ordering so really quick. All I would say to watch out for is if your order including the shipping cost is greater than the equivalent of US$ 300, then you'll have to pay duty of 5% of the total order value plus UPS charge a clearing fee of AED 75. Despite all this it is still cheaper than buying here plus there are more products online. I've had some damaged and missing items before but I've just e-mailed Lush and the missing/damaged items are sent out FOC so no problems.

I have also had an order directly shipped to the UAE, it cost me GBP 100 for a 3 kg parcel, 4 yrs ago. Delivery time was prompt and the cust serv team was very attentive.

I don't know, but wouldn't there be a restriction on bringing big bottles of lotions and potions into the country?

Thanks ladies. Yes, the price difference is considerable but I'm not sure if it will be offset by the shipping charges. I was hoping someone here shipped directly to the UAE or through S&S.

I have, a while back, but I ordered just prior to traveling to the UK so that I could be at the physical address at the time of its delivery. Yes, the price difference is considerable.
