Why don't you go and see your neighbour and explain the problem, apologise and tell her the car will be moved as soon as your husband returns. I asume you dont normally park the car in the same place so hopefully once you have explained it will difuse the situation. Even if vehicles are not restricting access some communities do have rules on where you can park.
I feel for you, OP. I live in a townhouse and my neighbors last night were shouting over parking space, when there are about twenty other empty parking spaces around the compound. People here need to calm the falafel down.
Nobody owns the public road outside their villa and I am pretty sure that they have no grounds to object unless a vehicle is obstructing pedestrian or vehicular access along the road or into their property. I don't think the Police would get involved unless they believed the car had been abandoned.
You could call the Police yourself and explain about the car and your neighbour shouting at you??
She has rung my bell and shouted...told me to get it moved...just been to have a look and it is not even in front of her garden gate, but is in front of the villa wall on the road.
Long story short..hubby left his car outside on the street...admittedly in front of the garden gate.
He is out of the country and has his keys with him...no spare here...
Neighbour is threatening to call police ...
Does anyone know the ins and outs of this...it is not blocking any driveways or access.
Have you spoken to the neighbour and asked why they will call the Police?
I doubt it is illegal as not blocking a driveway etc
